The Wolf’s 5 chipper saluted with ease on Day 2 and he has a stack more specials for us lined up for today. He is predicting another routine win for Roger but says we may lose multiple seeds across both the men’s and women’s draws.
Men’s Wimbledon Feature Previews
Stefanos Tsitsipas v Jared Donaldson
In normal circumstances we would lead with Federer – but not when there is a 5 chipper!!! Earlier this year The Wolf circled the name Tsitsipas and said we would be seeing a lot of him in 2018. It has definitely been the case, with the former junior world number 1 climbing to no.35 in the rankings at the tender age of 19! He has a big game and it is tailor made for fast surfaces. His serve/forehand combo allows him to take control from the baseline and he does not hesitate to hit through the ball. The Wolf says that he also has a very effective 2nd serve – something that Donaldson will have a tough time dealing with. His return of serve still needs a lot of work and is the reason why he rarely wins sets by a convincing margin. Tsitsipas matches are well known for their tiebreakers and we will see plenty of them in this one. Tsitsipas should win but will have to be at his best in the breakers. Overs!!!
Best Bet: Over 39.5 games ($1.85)
Roger Federer v Lukas Lacko
Lacko has come out of the woodwork’s over the last two months after spending most of his time on the Challenger Tour. He won a Challenger even in Glasgow in May and managed to make the final of Eastbourne on the main tour last week. It has catapulted him up to no.73 – his highest ranking in 5 years. He is about to get a reality check according to The Wolf. Federer was in cruise control in his win over Lajovic and has crushed Lacko in their prior two meetings – both at Grand slam level and both in straights sets. Federer has broken serve a total of 12 times across their two prior clashes and has faced just a single break points. This will be as routine a win as we will see at The Championships.
Best Bet: Federer -8.5 games ($2.00)
John Millman v Milos Raonic
It has been a good start for the Aussies and Millman can make it a whole lot better if he scores an upset win over Raonic. The Canadian is still struggling with injury and The Wolf says he is there for the taking. Millman has shown that he can handle the big server on grass with wins over Mahut and Muller over the last month – two men that have a very similar game style to Raonic. Breaks of serve will be non-existent and The Wolf is predicting this to go well beyond the minimum three sets. We will be backing the Overs and make sure you have something on Millman for the outright win.

Women’s Wimbledon Feature Previews
Ekaterina Makarova v Caroline Wozniacki
Wozniacki leads the H2H 7-1 with Makarova breaking her duck when they last met at the US Open late last year. It was their their maiden meeting at Grand Slam level and will give Makarova the confidence required to go for her shots here. The Wolf loves two things about her game. Firstly she is a lefty and more importantly, she has a very accomplished net game. She won the double here last year with Vesnina and has contested 7 Grand Slan double’s finals. She is a very dangerous opponent on this surface!
Best Bet: Makarova +5.5 ($2.00)
Viktoriya Tomova v Serena Williams
It was a slow start for Serena in her return and she was inconsistent at best. We saw a high amount of unforced errors but she can only improve. The cobwebs will be gone and after having dealt with a unorthodox opponent, The Wolf is expecting to see a much more polished performance. We should see her return game improve dramatically and that is great news for a bet in the handicap market.Take her at the minus!
