ATP World Tour Finals – Day 6

best tennis odds

Federer claimed top spot in the Group following a tough 3 set win over Kei Nishikori while Novak Djokovic ensure his place in the knockout stages with a grinding win over a resilient Tomas Berdych.

On Day 6 we will see an all Spaniard battle between Nadal and Ferrer as the 14 time Grand Slam Champion looks to secure top spot. It may be something he doesn’t want as it would mean a meeting against his nemesis and recent kryptonite Novak Djokovic. Considering how well Rafa has played so far in London the last thing he would want to do is go off the boil. Ferrer won’t give him anything and unlike his previous two opponents (Murray and Wawrinka) he will not have as much pace to work with. The H2H reads 4-4 on hard courts so look for a much tighter encounter than expected.

In the other encounter Murray and Wawrinka face off in a winner takes all match. Stan looked all but done after a terrible performance against Nadal and followed that with a poor start against Ferrer. He turned things around though by doing only what he does best – hitting winners. When Wawrinka is on he takes the game away from his opponent and is the most dangerous player on the tour. If he brings his A-Game he will win. He has won 5 consecutive sets against Murray and if the Scotsman plays conservatively he will be punished.
