The Wolf opened up with a 4-0 performance in Dubai yesterday and has found some real value as 1st round action resumes. In Acapulco Nadal makes his return against an opponent that has beaten him on 4 prior occasions.
ATP Dubai Preview
Borna Coric v Richard Gasquet
Dubai has not been a common stop for Gasquet but he did make the semi’s here back in 2011 (lost to Federer). The was a finalist a fortnight ago in Montpellier and this surface will be far better suited to his game than that of the Croatian. Coric does his best work on clay when he has time to wind up on his groundstrokes. The Wolf believes that Gasquet will look to play on the front foot in order to take time away from him. Look for the Frenchman to go hard into the backhand of Coric before venturing forward for the easy put away.
Best Bet: Gasquet -3.5 ($1.83)
Grigor Dimitrov v Malek Jaziri
Prior to a ball being hit, The Wolf labelled this tournament as Dimitrov’s to lose. If he is serious about entrenching himself in the top 5 and winning a major he must take care of business against a relatively weak field. He is the only man in the draw ranked higher than 15 so there can be no excuse. Jaziri, now 34, has been struggling to win at Challenger level, let alone on the ATP Tour. The Tunisian has lost 4 of his 5 matches on the ATP Tour this season with his only win coming against Caruso – ranked 182! Jaziri will be lucky to claim 6 games.
Best Bet: Under 19.5 games ($1.83)

ATP Acapulco Preview
Kei Nishikori v Denis Shapovalov
Nishikori has made a slow and patient return to the tour. He played Challenger’s in Newport and Dallas, won the latter, before a semi final run in New York a fortnight ago. This will be a real test for him as Shapovalov takes no prisoners. The youngster made the semi’s in Delray Beach last week and will go toe-to-toe with the man from Japan. The Wolf loves this matchup for Nishikori, and says the aggressive style of Shapovalov will play right into his hands.
Best Bet: Nishikori WIN ($1.53)
Rafael Nadal v Feliciano Lopez
Rafa is back but the alarm bells are ringing. It has always taken him time to find his best form and the reality is that Lopez has won the last two meetings between the pair, in Shanghai and Cincinnati – similar surfaces to this one. If you take away their meetings on clay the H2H reads only 5-4 in the favour of Nadal and that makes Rafa very attractive at the price!
Best Bet: Lopez +4.5 ($2.00)
|Nishikori v Shapovalov||Nishikori WIN ($1.53)|
|Ebden v Querrey||Over 21.5 games ($1.73)|
|Del Potro v M.Zverev||Zverev +4.5 ($2.05)|

|Gojowczyk v Gomez||Under 18.5 games ($1.73)|
