Feature Preview

Jiri Vesely v Philipp Kohlschreiber
The Wolf is shocked to see Kohlschreiber installed as outsider for this one. He is 2-0 lifetime against Vesely, but more importantly, has the type of game that has troubled Vesely in the past. The big serving Czech delivered for us overnight but Kohlschreiber has the ability to counter his power game. We will see him use a variety of speeds and spins with his ground-strokes and that will disrupt the rhythm of Vesely. Leonardo Mayer, Lorenzi and Fognini are the last three men to beat Vesely and The Wolf says they have similar games to Kohlschreiver – particularly Mayer. There may be injury concerns over the German but that will not concern us with a refunded bet on any retirement. In Kohlschreiber we trust.
Best Bet: Kohlschreiber +0.5 ($1.91)

Feature Preview

Steve Johnson v Daniil Medvedev
It was a little over a month ago when Medvedev beat Johnson on grass in Nottingham and despite registering a win over Wawrinka since he seems to be getting little respect from the bookies. This will be Johnson’s first outing since losing to Cilic in the 3rd round of The Championships and The Wolf is expecting a slow start from him. Medvedev was solid in his opening match victory and managed to break the booming Opelka serve on 3 occasions. It will keep him in good stead against another man who relies heavily on his one-two punch. With a +2.5 start Medvedev could lose multiple breakers and still cover.
Best Bet: Medvedev +2.5 ($1.80)

Feature Preview

Matthe Ebden v Feliciano Lopez
Aussie Matt Ebden is on fire!!! He made the final as a qualifier in Newport a fortnight ago and has again come through the qualifiers with ease here. Lopez failed to build on his win in Queen’s in the lead up to Wimbledon ans has since made early exits in his last two tournaments. Ebden has been doing a stellar job on serve and his consistency from the baseline has allowed him to put pressure on his opponents. Look for much of the same against Lopez. This one will go down to the wire.
Best Bet: Over 22.5 games ($1.85)
