The Dubai draw is as open as it gets with only half of the seeds remaining and two wildcards into the quarters!
ATP Dubai Preview
Yuichi Sugita v Lucas Pouille
Pouille has historically played well in patches and is in a real hot streak at the moment. He won in Vienna late last season and after a disappointing Australian Open bounced back with a win in Montpellier all before a run to the final in Marseille last week. He avenged his defeat at the hands of Khachanov overnight and in a weakened field will be very hard to beat. Sugita doesn’t have the power necessary to take control of rallies against the Frenchman and that leads The Wolf to believe that this one will be one way traffic.
Best Bet: Sets Pouille 2-0 ($1.73)
Malek Jaziri v Stefanos Tsitsipas
It is not often that we see two wildcards meet in the quarter finals of a ATP Tour level event, but both men deserve to be here. Jaziri has beaten Dimitrov and Haase while Tsitsipas has shown fighting spirit in his wins over Kukuahkin and Kohlschreiber. The teenager won a massive 85% of 1st serve points in his last match and if he can get his 1st serve percentage up into the mid 60’s he will be incredibly tough to break down. the Over is 4-0 between them during the tournament and The Wolf says this one is a complete flip. They will be going the distance!
Best Bet: Over 22.5 games ($1.73)
