Atlanta Open

John Isner showed why he is the three time defending champion with a dominant win over Mannarino and it is now the turn of Kyrgios and Verdasco to do the same. The Wolf says that Kyrgios has some demons to deal with and could be there for the taking…

Feature Previews

Fernando Verdasco v Julien Benneteau
Two veterans meet again and with well over 20 years between them on the tour it is a surprise that they have only met on four occasions. Verdasco has won all four and has dropped just a single set to the Frenchman. Benneteau has been struggling in his attempts to boost his ranking and has been restricted mainly to Challenger level events. Verdasco on the other hand continues to defy the age barrier and although Benneteau may push him in one of the sets the Spaniard has match fitness and pressure point experience on his side. Verdasco in straight.
Tip: Sets Verdasco 2-0 ($2.00)

Jared Donaldson v Nick Kyrgios
The Wolf was all over Donaldson in his opening round match against Sam Groth and he finds himself taking on yet another Aussie. The antics of Nick Kyrgios continued last week and it certainly had an effect on his on court performance where he suffered a disappointing loss to 17 year old Denis Shapovalov. Donaldson showed great poise against Groth and handled his big serve with consummate ease. He has plenty of tennis under his belt and will look to carry on from his impressive performance in Toronto last week. Mentally, Kyrgios simply isn’t there at the moment. He served 18 double faults in his last match and will no doubt spray plenty of errors. With Kyrgios in a rut we will back the Overs and Donaldson with the start when the odds are released.
Tip: Over 21.5 games ($1.73)
