FFA Cup Feature Previews

Adelaide Utd v Melbourne Victory – Wed 7:30pm
Adelaide are coming off a season to forget and their 1-0 win over the Jets in the previous round was less than inspiring. Expect to see a very different outfit and style this year from the Reds. They will look very different under new coach Marco Kurz. Galekovic, La Rocca and Cirio have all departed with imports Matmour and Absalonsen the key inclusions. The youthful additions of Blakwoos and Izzo shouls also add some spark. They will need every bit of it as the Victory have their sights set on doing the double this season. They put 5 past the Roar and there are two very familiar names rocking the blue jersey again this season. Milligan and Barbarouses are back and will be huge additions! Melbourne won all three meetings between the two sides last season and have lost just 1 of their last 12 against Adelaide. It is a dominant record and with the Victory scoring multiple goals in 9 of the last 12 meetings The Wolf is expecting them to put on a clinic.
Best: Melbourne WIN ($1.75)
Value: Melbourne Win Both Halves ($4.40)

Sydney Utd v Heidelberg – Wed 7:30pm
Two sides that are familiar with both this competition and one another. Both state league sides have experienced success in this competition and Heidelberg have without doubt been the standout since the inception of the competition. They are coming off a huge upset win over Perth Glory and were recently crowed premiers in the Victoria NPL competition. Heidelberg won when they met in the 2015 quarter finals and have been on a tear as of late. They have been scoring goals for fun with Athiu and Noon combining for 7 goals in their last two matches. Similarly, Sydney Utd have been trying the break the scoreboards. They have scored 27 goals across their last 6 FFA Cup matches including 7 in their most recent win over the Far North Queensland Heat. With the amount of goals these two have been scoring The Wolf is expecting this to be a shootout!
Best: Over 2.5 goals ($1.44)
Value: Over 4.5 goals ($3.75)
