EPL Gameweek 37 Preview and Tips
EPL Feature Previews
Brighton v Man Utd – (Sat 5:00am)
The Red Devils are all but assured a second placed finish in the league, but more importantly, they have a chance at grabbing silverware when they take on Chelsea in the FA Cup final. Brighton have the toughest run over the closing rounds but their 37 points should be enough to stay in the top flight. They have matches against Man City and Liverpool to follow, meaning they are unlikely to earn a single point. Their last league win came 7 games ago and scoring goals has been a problem all season long. United on the other hand have won 6 of their last 7 across all competitions and their last 3 league games away from home. Mourinho has been working his rotation well and they should have little problems disposing of Brighton. United have maintained clean sheets in their last 4 against Brighton and that should continue.
Best: Man Utd WIN ($1.70)
Value: Teams To Score Man Utd Only ($2.75)
West Brom v Tottenham – (Sun 12:00am)
It would take a miracle for the Baggies to avoid relegation but they have done their best to keep some light at the end of the tunnel. They are undefeated in their last 4 and have taken points off Man Utd and Liverpool. They have done the same against Spurs in recent season with draws in 4 of the last 5 meetings. They have found a way to frustrate the Spurs attack and one can never under-estimate a side battling for survival. The back four of Gibbs, Hegazi, Dawson and Nyom have been fantastic over the last fortnight and The Wolf is backing them to hold out Harry Kane. Spurs have won just 1 of their last 4 across all competitions and are there for the taking!
Best: Double Chance – West Brom or Draw ($2.70)
Value: West Brom WIN ($5.00)
Man City v Huddersfield – (Sun 10:30pm)
We have been riding Man City over the last few weeks and have been rewarded. The Wolf was expecting them to close out the season with some impressive performances and they have done exactly that – 3 consecutive wins and 12 goals scored. Everyone is getting in on the act with 8 different scorers in that stretch! Huddersfield have failed to score in 5 of their last 7 and that spells danger for a club that is desperate to stay in the top flight. They may need help from the other teams with matches against London giants Chelsea and Arsenal to close out the season. Huddersfield will be praying that West Brom, Stoke and Southampton don’t collect any more points.
Best: Over 3.5 goals ($1.80)
Value: Man City Over 4.5 goals ($3.75)
Arsenal v Burnley – (Mon 1:30am)
The Gunners failed to deal with the short turnaround last week and The Wolf is expecting a similar outcome when they host Burnley. The Clarets have lost just 1 of their last 9 league games (5 wins, 3 draws) and have conceded more than once in just one of those 9 games. Just a single goals has separated the two sides in the last 5 meetings and a upset win could see Burnley join Arsenal on 57 points. It may seem like a mismatch but The Wolf says it is anything but. Burnel have been underrated all season long and we will not make the same mistake as the general public. Arsene Wenger would like his last match at the Emirates to be a win but The Wolf says Burnley will spoil the party.
Best: Under 2.5 goals ($2.10)
Value: Double Chance Draw or Burnley ($2.30)
Chelsea v Liverpool – (Mon 1:30am)
It may not have been pretty but Liverpool made their way into the Champions League final. They now have 3 weeks to prepare for the match and The Wolf expect Klopp to continue what he has done over the last two months – rest his key players sparingly and only one at a time. There is no doubt that they will have spent the last two days celebrating and The Wolf has question marks over how committed they will be to winning this game. They are 6 points clear of Chelsea and host Brighton in their final game of the season. A draw would all but end Chelsea’s chase for a top 4 finish which should lead to this one being far more open that expected. Both teams have found the back of the net in the last 6 meetings with the Reds undefeated against Chelsea in that stretch. The Blues have won their last 4 across all competitions but The Wolf cannot see them holding off a Liverpool attack that has been unstoppable.
Best: Both Teams To Score – YES ($1.60)
Value: Over 3.5 goals ($3.00)
