EPL Gameweek 37

Chelsea secured the title with a narrow 1-0 win away to West Brom, Liverpool and Man City continue to control their own destiny in terms of making the top 4 while Hull joined Middlesbrough and Sunderland as the teams that will be relegated. Arsenal will need to win their two remaining fixtures and hope that either Man City or Liverpool drop points but The Wolf cannot see that happening. With several teams having virtually nothing to play for we could see the tactics thrown out the window and some very attacking football played.

Chelsea v Watford – (Tue 6:00am)
The celebrations have begun in West London and they are not likely to stop any time soon as Chelsea claimed their second Premier League title in three seasons. With the short turn around Conte, should in theory, rest some of his key players but The Wolf says that will not be the case. Those were worked tirelessly throughout the course of the season will want to celebrate in from of a boisterous home crowd. Stamford Bridge will be painted in blue and Watford will be the hapless victims of the party. The Hornets have lost their last 4 games, but what’s worse is the fact that they have lost their last 6 away games in the league and have failed to score a single goal along the way. After having gone over 600 minutes without an away goal it is hard to see them scoring at the bridge.
Best: Teams To Score – Chelsea Only ($2.15)
Value: Chelsea Over 3.5 goals ($3.40)

Arsenal v Sunderland – (Wed 4:45am)
Wenger is set to stay at Arsenal but they will have to do without Champions League football next season – unless there is a minor miracle. They would need to beat Sunderland and Everton and would need Man City or Liverpool to drop points in their remaining fixtures. The Reds play a already relegated Middlesborough at Anfield in their last game so you can rule that out while City take on West Brom and Watford. It will be a case of too little, too late for Wenger who has continuously left the money in the bank over the last 5 years. His stubbornness to over-spend in the transfer market have ultimately cost him and they will lose their best player in Sanchez as a result. What would make things worse is if the Chilean goes to a rival! Nevertheless, they have never lost to Sundeland at home in the EPL and will completely dominate this one in order to keep their slim hopes of Champions League football alive. Giroud has 4 goals in his last 4 while Sanchez and Ozil have also found the back of the net over the last fortnight. The ‘Wenger Out’ signs will be prominent but the protests will amount to nothing. Top 4 or no top 4, Wenger is set to stay.
Best: Over 3.5 goals ($1.72)
Value: 2nd Half Arsenal 3+ goals ($3.60)

Man City v West Brom – (Wed 5:00am)
Man City control their own destiny in terms of qualifying for the Champions League next season but they will not want a repeat of their second half performance against Leicester. They created next to nothing and the most remarkable missed penalty ever seen. The ball made it into the back of the net but Mahrez slipped as he took the penalty and kicked it from one foot onto the other. It was correctly disallowed by Bobby Madley and was one of the greatest pieces of officiating in recent time.

It was a lifeline that City will gladly take and West Brom are about to feel the full force in what is a must win game for the Manchester club. They have won their last 10 against the Baggies and found the back of the net 26 times along the way. City have conceded in 9 of their last 11 at home across all competitions so they had better have their scoring boots on again for this one.
Best: Both Teams To Score – YES ($2.20)
Value: West Brom Over 1.5 goals ($7.50)
