EPL Match Previews

Man Utd v Tottenham – (Sat 10:30pm)
United suffered their first defeat of the season away to Huddersfield last week while Tottenham crushed Liverpool. The results mean that their are tied on 20 points – 5 adrift off Man City. The script was flipped in the midweek EFL Cup fixtures. A second string Mourinho side won in Swansea while Spurs let a 2 goal lead slip against rivals West Ham. In another blow they may be without star striker Harry Kane after he picked up a hamstring injury against Liverpool. The home team has dominated this matchup in recent seasons winning the last 5 meetings. Scoring at Old Trafford has been a real problem for Spurs who have failed to find the back of the net in their last 3 trips to the venue. The last encounter between them was the first in 6 in which both teams found the back of the net. They are two very disciplined defensive sides and The Wolf is expecting very few goals.
Best: Under 2.5 goals ($1.72)
Value: Both Teams To Score – NO ($2.00)

Arsenal v Swansea – (Sun 1:00am)
The Gunners posted their biggest win of the season and The Wolf is hoping Wenger will again start with the quarter of Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette and Ramsey. They were absolutely brilliant in attack and could have won by more! For all the talk about Ozil being lazy his vision and passing is second to none. Moreover, Sanchez is a different player when the German is on the field. Sanchez feeds of Ozil’s understanding of the game and his ability to put together a series of short intricate passes. Arsenal have scored 7 goals in their last two against the Swans so look for them to build on last weeks performance. Swansea have failed to score in 3 of their 4 away matches in the league this season and will again fail to contribute when they take the field at the Emirates.
Best: Teams To Score – Arsenal Only ($2.00)
Value: 1st Half Arsenal Over 1.5 goals ($2.70)

Liverpool v Huddersfield – (Sun 1:00am)
Reds fans would like to forget what happened against Spurs last week but The Wolf says they shouldn’t. The match highlighted Liverpool’s problems – their inability to defend as a unit and their frailty defending in the air. Two o the Tottenham goals came from set piece with the other two involving passes over the top of the defence. Huddersfield are certain to play long when they travel to Anfield. Look for Aussie Aaron Mooy to pick out the runs of Depoitre, Ince and Kachunga. As they did against Man Utd last week Huddersfield will play almost exclusively on the counter. It is the reason the Under is 4-0 in their last 4 away games across all competitions and with Liverpool struggling to break teams down when they sit deep The Wolf says to get right around the Unders.
Best: Under 2.5 goals ($2.50)
Value: 1st Half Result – Draw ($2.70)

West Brom v Man City – (Sun 1:00am)
Man City were more than just tested by Wolves in the EFL Cup and needed a penalty shootout to get past The Championship side. The Wolf wasn’t surprised and says Wolves would give it to more than a handful of Premier League sides. The biggest thing to take note of is that De Bruyne and Silva did not take part in that match and as we have seen this season they hold the keys to the castle when it comes to City’s attack. As good as Aguero and Jesus are it is the supply from the midfield duo which makes their work up front effortless. City have a crushing record against the Baggies having won the last 12 meetings between them. The Over is 9-0 in the last 9 meetings but The Wolf is expecting a polished defensive display from the visitors. City have to travel to Italy for the Champions League which generally means they will control the tempo in the finals 20 and cruise to victory.
Best: Teams To score – Man City Only ($2.10)
Value: 1st Half Correct Score Man City 2-0 ($5.50)

Bournemouth v Chelsea – (Sun 3:30am)
The Cherries have been better than their record suggests and they are finally being rewarded for playing good football. The duo of Stanislas and Ibe have given them more potency in attack and we rarely see them fail to score at home. They have scored multiple goals in 6 of their last 10 home games in the league and The Wolf is expecting them to do the same against a Chelsea side that have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 6 matches. With Kante still sidelined The Wolf says we will continue to back Chelsea’s opponents to score multiple goals. The Blues have conceded 2 or more in 3 of their last 4 matches across all competitions. Last week we were on Watford Over 1.5 goals at $4.50 and this week it will be Bournemouth who deliver.¬†
