Onto Gameweek 35 and both ends of the EPL ladder are taking shape with Sunderland looking all but relegated and Chelsea’s lead at the top again being cut to 4 points. There’s the small matter of the North London derby to look forward to and The Wolf has previewed every game.  Tips and previews below…..

Feature EPL Match Previews

Man Utd v Swansea – (Sun 9:00pm)
The Wolf was spot on in his appraisal of Mourinho’s tactics in the Manchester derby on Friday morning as he well and truly parked the bus, stifling City’s attacking threat and playing out a drab 0-0 draw.  This result doesn’t do much for either team in terms of securing a top 4 place on the ladder, it just bunches more clubs together! United have now equaled their club record EPL unbeaten run with 24 games without a loss and head into this game facing a Swansea side that have lost their last 6 away games and are in dire relegation trouble. United are very short priced favourites and The Wolf isn’t keen to back them given their injury crisis (Pogba, Zlatan, Mata, Smalling, Rojo & Fellaini all out) and their tendency to draw home games.  Swansea are fighting for their lives and have actually won two of their last 4 visits to Old Trafford.  United will not park the bus as thewy did against their cross city rivals and that might open up opportunities for the likes of Gylfi & Llorente to snatch a goal. In fact, Swansea have scored in each of the 3 away games that they have played against top 4 opposition. United have to get a result in this game and The Wolf sees an opportunity for Swansea to snatch a draw.
Best: Both teams to score ($2.05)
Value: Draw ($4.75)

Everton v Chelsea – (Sun 11:05pm)
Chelsea’s lead is back to 4 points after Tottenham grinded out a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace thanks to a wonder goal from in-form midfielder Christian Eriksen. It leaves the title race still open and the Blues now face a tricky fixture against the Toffees at Goodison where Everton have won their last 7 games, scoring a staggering 26 goals in that stretch.  The Toffees have won 5 of their last 7 EPL home games against Chelsea and The Wolf can see goals, goals & more goals in this one as Chelsea cannot afford to slip up and Everton are clearly in form at Goodison.  Chelsea’s last victory here came in 2014 and saw a 3-6 scoreline and The Wolf is expecting more of the same.  The Blues have now gone 11 EPL games without keeping a clean sheet and they will not be keeping one here.  The price on offer for over 2.5 goals seems value given 27 goals have been scored in the past 6 fixtures between the two clubs. Chips in overs!
Best: Over 2.5 goals ($1.80)
Value: Over 4.5 goals ($6.00)

Tottenham v Arsenal – (Mon 1:30am)
The second North London derby has arrived with both teams in very different positions.  For Spurs, they kept the pressure on league-leaders, Chelsea, with a 1-0 win at Palace midweek and have now won their last 9 EPL games.  Their form at White Hart Lane is even more impressive as they have gone 17 games unbeaten, winning 16 and scoring multiple goals in 16.  In fact, Spurs have now scored 57 goals in their last 17 home games (3.35 goals per game).  For Arsenal, a drab 1-0 victory over current champions, Leicester City, keeps them in the hunt for 4th position but the Wolf has finally given up on them as a unit.  They looked devoid of any idea of how to break down a stubborn Leicester side and the end of the season cannot come quick enough for some of their players.  If, and it’s a big if, Chelsea fail to beat Everton in the earlier game, Spurs stand the chance of clawing the gap down to either 1 or 2 points and that will them the impetus they need to get a result in this one.  Spurs are unbeaten in each of their last 5 EPL encounters with Arsenal and Harry Kane will be looking to get on the scoresheet, something he has done in each of his last 4 games against their North London rivals. The Wolf cannot look past Spurs in this one, given what is at stake.  A lot comes down to the result in the Chelsea game, however they carry great form into this game and should be winning.
Best: Tottenham WIN ($1.85)
Value: Tottenham over 1.5 First Half goals ($5.00)

Watford v Liverpool – (Tues 5:00am)
The last game of the round sees Liverpool travel to Vicarage Road to take on a Watford side that have lost 5 of their last 6 EPL games against them. For Liverpool, the pressure is well and truly on with both Manchester clubs & Arsenal all breathing down their neck in the race to capture the coveted Champions League spots for next season. The Hornets have won their last 3 home games without conceding and The Wolf feels that the lack of consistency will be detrimental to Liverpool in this one.  Liverpool will again be without Mane, Lallana & Henderson and Watford will take heart from the way Crystal Palace went about their business in their convincing win at Anfield on Monday morning.  Benteke was a dominant force in that game & Deeney will look to do exactly the same here. Liverpool cannot afford to lose this game but the Wolf has no faith in their attacking ability at this stage of the season, despite the wizardry of Coutinho.  This has draw written all over it.
Best: Under 2.5 goals ($2.10)
Value: Draw ($4.00)

Best Bets

Best: Everton v Chelsea  – Over 2.5 goals ($1.80)
Value: Man City over 4.5 team goals ($8.50)
