UCL Tips: Semi Finals (2nd Leg)

Roma shocked the world with 3-0 win over Barcelona to progress. Can they repeat that effort against Liverpool….

UCL Semi Finals Previews

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich (2-1) – Wed 4:45am
Madrid are on track for a three-peat and a 2-1 win in the opening leg has them in the box seat to make yet another Champions League Final. It is in fact a repeat of last year’s quarter final scoreline – one that Real Madrid almost let slip in the second leg. Bayern managed to force extra time with a 2-1 result in regulation but Real ran riot in extra time with 3 goals in 8 minutes. Coach Zinedine Zidane has urged his players to focus 100%, especially after there were nervous time against Juventus in the previous round. Bayern will be boosted by the availability of Alaba and Martinez while Robben looks to maintain his spot after completing training over the weekend. Real have now gotten the better of the German side in the last 16 meetings with a combined scoreline of 15-5. Both sides played second string lineups over the weekend and The Wolf is expecting a blistering tempo as a result. Juve really took it to Madrid in the quarters and The Wolf is predicting that Bayern will do the same. It will however expose them on the counter – an area which Real Madrid have been lethal in recent years. The 2nd leg of UCL semi finals are traditionally very open encounters due to the ‘do or die’ nature, with at least 3 goals in 10 of the last 14. The Wolf tipped us into Real Madrid last week and will be sticking with them.
Best: Over 3.5 goals ($1.90)
Value: Over 2.5 & Real Madrid WIN ($2.35)
Correct Score: Real Madrid 3-2 ($17.00)

Roma v Liverpool (2-5) – Thur 4:45am
Liverpool put on a clinic last week and The Wolf says not to let the two late Roma goals fool you into thinking a comeback is a possibility. The 3-0 win over Barcelona was the only miracle Roma will achieve this season and they are about to be knocked out of this competition in humiliating circumstances. Liverpool have scored a monstrous 38 goals in the UCL this season including 5 against Roma last week. The Italian side has no answer for the onslaught and there is no chance that Liverpool head to Rome trying to maintain a clean sheet. The Reds have scored in every away UCL match in this season and no side has looked like keeping them out. More importantly, the fact that Roma have to push numbers forward plays right into Liverpool’s hands. The trio of Salah, Firmino and Mane have been lethal on the counter! They have combined for 28 goals in the UCL, 11 more than Roma as a team. The Wolf is shocked at the price on offer for Liverpool and is expecting a carbon copy of the 2nd leg against Man City. Roma will press forward, fail to score and get crushed on the counter. We will be backing Liverpool to win and Liverpool by multiple goals.
Best: Liverpool WIN ($2.70)
Value: Liverpool Over 2.5 goals ($3.50)
Correct Score: Liverpool 4-1 ($34.00)
