Wolf’s Racing Guide – Monday, 5 March

The Wolf has found his best bets from Orange and Murwillumbah to start your working week in style!

Wolf’s Best

El Dorado Mine (Orange Race 1, No.2)

El Dorado has been frustrating to follow, with only one win and eight minor placings from 17-career starts. He should get all the favours from barrier 1 today and will be put right into race by Noel Callow. 1600m looks ideal now and there was plenty of merit in his last run at Goulburn behind the smart El Mo. The only slight query is if the track is downgraded from a Good 4.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $2.15

Circuit Bets

Viceman (Murwillumbah Race 6, No.3)

Viceman was slow away at Lismore last start, but chased strongly to finish just out of the placings. He won at the track three starts back and will be better suited today with the services of Jeff Lloyd. Just needs to jump with them today to be fighting out the finish.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: N/A

Bow River (Orange Race 5, No.4)

Bow River broke his maiden at Bathurst last start and can go on with it now. He’ll have the advantage of the rails draw and it’s worth noting that the in-form Grant Buckley sticks with him after his maiden win. If the track is downgraded, he has placed twice from three starts on a soft track. Well placed to record back-to-back wins.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $5.50

Bolter

Landsdowne Lass (Murwillumbah Race 2, No.10)

Landsdowne Lass broke her maiden three starts back at Ballina on a rain-affected track. She should relish the wet conditions today and will look to dictate terms by pushing forward from the wide draw. Knockout hope, especially if the track is downgraded further.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $23/$4.25
