Wolf’s Friday Racing Guide – Friday, 20 April

The Wolf is looking to kick off his weekend with multiple winners this Friday at Cranbourne & Muswellbrook! He is keen on a last start winner who looks very hard to run down.

Wolf’s Best

Hollywood Vine (Cranbourne Race 6, No. 1)

Hollywood Vine is a very intelligent animal who looks destined for bigger and betting things than a Class 1 at Cranbourne. He was heavily backed last start at Sale and went on to salute by just under a length in good time. Callow remains on board and if he pushes forward on him he’ll take beating.

Circuit Bets

Augusta In April (Muswellbrook Race 1, No. 1)

Augusta In April is well overdue for a win and The Wolf is confident that it will come here. He’s been a nuisance so far, but has shown that he has more than enough ability and if he continues to race like he has then he will be in the finish. He’s drawn well in barrier 2 where Robert Thompson will look to settle midfield with cover before peeling out to give chase.

Fearless Al (Muswellbrook Race 3, No. 1)

Fearless Al won well at his only start at Tamworth and The Wolf is expecting him to remain undefeated with a win here. He raced on the speed that day and was able to tough it out in the finish to win by a nose. He’ll have made natural improvement from that run and with Gibbons sticking aboard looks the one to beat.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $5.00

Goldfinch (Muswellbrook Race 7, No. 7)

Goldfinch gets her chance today dropping in grade and with Deanne Panya sticking aboard looks the one to beat. She gets 54kg on her back and from the inside draw should find a soft lead. She’s been competitive in much stronger races than this previously in her career
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $2.05

Elle Gagne (Cranbourne Race 7, No. 12)

Elle Gagne is the class runner of the field and The Wolf is confident that she will be winning this. She’s undefeated at Cranbourne and with Jordan Childs on board looks the one to beat. She’s raced against much stronger company than what she meets here and The Wolf is expecting her campaign to kick off with a win.
