Wolf’s Racing Guide – Wednesday 11 October

Wolf’s Best

Beacon (Warwick Farm Race 6, No. 10)

James Cummings trained gelding who couldn’t have been more impressive last start when winning at Canterbury over 1100m.

He led from the get go that day and was eased up on the line by rider Hugh Bowman to win by over a length.

He’s won 2/3 in his short career and The Wolf is confident that with another soft lead here, he’ll be extending that record here.

Recommended Bet: Price Pump from $2.60 – $2.85.

Tutu (Warwick Farm Race 4, No. 6)

Last start winner who looks set to record her biggest win to date here.

She sat outside the leader that day at Wyong and in the straight was far too strong for her opponents, kicking clear to win by five lengths.

She beat a weak bunch that day, but the manner of her win holds a lot of merit, and if she can repeat that performance here The Wolf expects she will be far too strong for this lot.

Recommended Bet: Tutu to WIN at $2.65.

Confidence Level:

Art Of Excellence (Warwick Farm Race 5, No. 5)

Flying leader who put a 12 length gap on them mid-race to score by a nose at Warwick Farm last start.

Prior to this he won a key trial at Randwick, beating home Chalk who came out and won last Saturday at Randwick.

The Wolf expects he’ll lead again here and with a big enough break on them mid-race, will prove very tough to run down.

Recommended Bet: Art Of Excellence to WIN at $5.50.
Confidence Level:

Coruscate (Bendigo Race 5, No. 2)

Speedy colt from Godolphin who will have taken plenty of fitness from his first up run at Moonee Valley.

He finished off nicely that day to finish fourth and a drop back in class here will do him wonders.

His Sydney form last prep is outstanding; having placed behind Diamond Tathagata in the Group 2 Skyline and then behind Single Bullet in the Group 3 Pago Pago.

This is by far and away the best form reference to be winning here and with Craig Williams resuming from a lengthy suspension, you can be assured he’ll do everything possible to win here aboard Coruscate.

Recommended Bet: Coruscate to WIN at $4.80.
Confidence Level:

Bolter

Eccellere (Warwick Farm Race 8, No. 8)

Speed runner who saluted at 30-1 two starts ago at Canterbury when leading from the get go.

She didn’t go to the lead last start which proved costly, she found herself peeling wide on the turn and found little in the tank when finishing off.

Her best go is to lead, and whilst he predicts a strong tempo on paper from a number of runners, he is prepared to back Eccellere at the price in the hope that Deanne Panya takes her straight to the front.

Recommended Bet: Eccellere EACH WAY at $17.
