Speedy Waterhouse/Bott leader who should make every post a winner.
Last start he flew out to lead and it paid dividends at Randwick, as his stablemate Supply And Demand struggled to reel him in late.
This is an outstanding form reference for a race like this, as since then Supply And Demand has since been touted as a possible Group 1 Railway Stakes horse.
Expect he’ll lead once again and if he’s taken any improvement off last start he’ll be very hard to beat.
Recommended Bet: Cabeza De Vaca to WIN at $2.85.
Last start winner whose form at 1800m and beyond should prove too strong for this field.
Last start he settled on the speed at Rosehill, before taking over late to score in a head bobbing finish.
The form around him is strong and being third up he should be fit enough to win here.
Recommended Bet: CARZOFF to WIN at $3.70.
Godolphin-owned galloper who is 2/3 this prep.
His last two starts he’s won with ease over 1600m and 1800m respectively and being fourth up he should be able to see out the 1900m on offer here with ease.
The main danger in the race Black on Gold who placed second behind him as since come out and franked his form by winning.
Expect Angland to settle him midfield before taking control late in the race.
Recommended Bet: Interlocuter to WIN at $1.95.
Paul Messara trained galloper who is 2/2 when running second up.
He’s finished alongside some very smart horses throughout his short career, most notably ‘Prompt Response’ – who two starts ago placed fourth in the Group 1 Myer Classic at Flemington.
He’s had a very quiet trial leading into this and The Wolf is confident he’ll be able to keep his unbeaten first up record in tact.
Recommended Bet: Caerless Choice to WIN at $8.00.
Last start Sale Cup winner who with any improvement should take beating here.
He beat a class field that day; including Fastnet Tempest who has since franked that form by winning at Flemington during Melbourne Cup week.
Expect Darmanin to settle him behind the speed and let down nicely in the straight.
Recommended Bet: Moss ‘N’ Dale to WIN at $3.90.
Last start winner over 1300m who looks very well placed to make it back to back wins here.
He was ridden to perfection that day by Rory Hutchings; where he was able to find cover in the run before taking over with 100m to go.
He was outstanding last start and he doesn’t meet an overly strong field here.
Recommended Bet: Redouble to WIN at $3.20.
Last start fourth placegetter in the Melbourne Cup who looks very well placed to win here dropping back to 2400m.
He’s had a very impressive campaign this prep, winning the St Leger at Randwick and placing in The Metropolitan prior to his Melbourne Cup run.
Damian Lane takes the reins here and from barrier 3 expect he’ll be able to slot him in on the speed with ease.
He’s been Darren Weir’s premier stayer for some time now, and The Wolf is confident he’ll be able to capture his second Group 2 success with a win here.
Recommended Bet: Big Duke to WIN at $3.50.
Veteran sprinter from the Clarry Conners Yard who has most recently won a trial by over seven lengths at Warwick Farm.
First up last prep he won a very smart race, beating home Badajoz and The Monstar; the latter of which going on to win the Listed June Stakes and then place in two more Listed Races after that.
It’s hard to get a gauge on where he will settle in the run, but the booking of Deanne Panya indicates to The Wolf that they will either lead or be on the speed.
Recommended Bet: Kudero EACH WAY at $12.00/$3.70.
