Wolf’s Racing Guide – Friday 27 October

Wolf’s Best

Dinnigan (Canterbury Race 3, No. 1)

Filly from the Waterhouse/Bott stable who placed behind Madeenaty on debut at Wyong last year.

She’s spelled for over 40 weeks since where she has won 2/3 trials whilst having a break.

Her most recent trial was very impressive, Avdulla took her straight to the front where she was able to extend away to score by over a length.

Expect Tim Clark to take her straight to the front here and from there, take plenty of running down.

Recommended Bet: Dinnigan to WIN at $2.90.

Circuit Bets

Smart Coupe (Moonee Valley Race 4, No. 5)

Undefeated filly who is 2/2 and looks very well placed to make it 3/3 here.

The form around her is very strong, as on debut she beat home Fox Swift who has since come out and won the Listed Cap D’Antibes Stakes at  Flemington.

She’s a very straight forward filly – take her to the front where she is comfortable and let her do the work from there.

Linda Meech stays aboard which is a positive and The Wolf is supremely confident she will be going on with things here.

Recommended Bet: Smart Coupe to WIN at $2.90.

Confidence Level:

Hay Now (Canterbury Race 7, No. 9)

Matt Dunn trained mare who strung an impressive three wins on the trot last prep, including a win at Rosehill ahead of Red Knot.

The form around her is outstanding and her most recent trial at Muswellbrook suggests that she will be ready to fire first up.

Expect Tim Clark to settle her midfield and let down nicely in the straight with the powerful turn of foot she possesses.

Recommended Bet: Hay Now to WIN at $2.75.

Confidence Level:

Hellova Street (Moonee Valley Race 8, No. 1)

Tasmanian galloper who placed behind Badajoz at Caulfield last start.

Last start at Caulfield he flew out to lead where he found himself engaging in a speed battle with Shaf, which did in turn, hinder his chances late in the race.

He’ll have improved off his first start and if he can get to a soft lead, he’ll take running down.

Recommended Bet: Hellova Street to WIN at $4.80.

Confidence Level:

La Chatte (Canterbury Race 8, No. 8)

A winner of her last two with ease The Wolf is confident she will be able to make it three in a row here.

She hasn’t beaten much in her last two starts but she has proven that she can stay, which will be crucial here.

She’ll settle on the speed which is where you want to be at Canterbury and from there, should take plenty of running down.

Recommended Bet: La Chatte to WIN at $6.00.
