Horse Racing Tips – Sunshine Coast
14 July 2017
The Wolf’s racing tips for Sunshine Coast. His best bet is
Tumbler (Sunshine Coast Race 1, No. 2).
Race 1. 2. Tumbler
TUMBLER returns with a terrific career record having win six of eight previously, dropping back in grade for this. Won a recent trial at Sunshine Coast and undefeated from three previous first up efforts will prove hard to beat.
Race 2: 12. Our Jamaica
OUR JAMAICA has come back in very good order this campaign, returning with a win before placing in her last two outings. Down in the weights for this and looks a top chance.
Race 3: 9. Bushy
BUSHY has come back in good order this campaign and is on the quick back up following a win over 1350m at Doomben last start. Right down in the weights again today and with Jeff Lloyd back on board looks hard to beat.
Race 4: 1. Bring It Home Pop
BRING IT HOME POP was well backed last start and scored a dominant win. Meets a relatively similar field here and a repeat of that performance looks imminent.
Race 5: 7. Cashing Up'
CASHING UP placed twiced before finding himself too far back with too much to do last time out. He settles midfield with cover usually and if he can get a cosy run in transit from barrier 2 he'll go awfully close.
Race 6: 4. Stella Ombra
STELLA OMBRA scored a good win at Randwick two back before being caught four wide when just better than midfield at Rockhampton last start. Rates well in this field off recent form and with a terrific record over the 1200m goes on top.
Race 7. 2. Soviet Courage
SOVIET COURAGE has been fairly consistent over the staying trips of late and battled on well when fourth in the Listed Winter Cup at Rosehill last start. Okay in his only previous effort over 3200m and could prove too good today.
Race 8. 1. Sundance
SUNDANCE has been good in both outings this campaign and he remains over the 1000m trip for this where he does his best racing. Should roll forward from the good gate and will take plenty of running down.
Race 9. 7. Lord Marmaduke
LORD MARMADUKE returned well at Ipswich before going on to win over 1250m at Ballina last start. Should improve again today third up and has placed his only previous run at the 1400m. Going as well as any and can get the win.
