Wolf’s Best Bet

Albion Park Race 5, No. 8 Arbit Major
Has ran second at his past three starts but today the wolf thinks he can go one better. He has been running good times around Redcliffe and is sure to enjoy the Albion Park circuit. He has the perfect draw inside the back row and should follow the leader everywhere he goes and zap him on the sprint lane late.

Confidence Level:

Circuit Bets

Bankstown Race 1, No.2 Sir Macador
He has looked more than above average at his two wins so far in Australia and with his stablemate drawn inside him today he looks the leader and looks the winner. He ran sensational time first up in the country breaking 1.58 for the 2125 metre trip at Penrith which is no mean feat and being third up today he should only be further improved.

Tamworth Race 1, No. 6 Last Party
She is a very well bred three year old filly having her first start in Australia fresh from New Zealand. She won her last start in New Zealand only five weeks ago in good time at one of their metro tracks. She faces a very small field that haven’t run very good time when looking through their form so today’s race should be a jog in the park for her.

Tamworth Race 6, No. 7 Gottashopearly
This four year old gelding has already won six of his 24 race starts and looked more than ok when racing in Victoria. He resumed last week at Albion Park and finished off his race nice in a 56.6 second last 800 metres but should only be improved from that run. Today he faces an average field which he is more than capable of beating especially with his barrier draw where he is likely to be on the leaders back throughout.

Wolf’s Bolter

Bankstown Race 4, No. 7 Quick Turn
He races for luck so we need to take him on trust but this the easiest field he has faced for many starts. He is likely to be behind the leader or three back the pegs and shouldn’t do any work in the run. His last win was back in March at Menangle where he beat the likes of Helens Bonus and Du Vella in good time. He is going to be good each way odds and is well worth and each way bet.

Wolf’s Back Breaker

Melton Race 2, No. 9 Amarula
This five year old mare is going to start under the odds because of her performances as a juvenile but realistically as an older horse she has only beaten up low grade trotters. Her last two races have been up in grade and she hasn’t handled them well racing outside the leader on both occasions. Tonight she is going to have to race outside the leader again which is going to bring her undone once again.

$23,000 Retravision Ms Pace (Gloucester Park)
This race looks a leader and behind leader dominated race with the two Gary Hall Senior runners drawing barrier one and two. Mach Time from barrier two will likely be aloud to cross Harry Who in the pole and from those positions those two look the ones that will fight out the finish with Harry Who being the on top selection having the more softer run throughout. Sprinter has been flying recently but from inside the backrow he will need luck though they might pop off the rail early and come with one run at them. Franco Rayner is first up tonight but is very classy and looks a place chance as does El Hombre and Vultan Tin from their backrow draws.

Owners Only Ms Pace (Gloucester Park)
The Gary Hall Senior pole runner Ima Rocknroll Legend looks to have this race in his keepings as he looks the leader and from the lead he should be winning. He has been around the mark recently from terrible draws running some nice placings in good times. His last win was only two months back and that was against Ideal Tyson and Soho Tribeca which reads very well for tonight’s race. Ideal Tyson has a terrible draw but he is a classy conveyance and with a soft run can be lethal. Rabchenko will be much better suited with the soft run on the leaders back while Cut For An Ace and King Lebron should appreciate the class drop and look place chances.
