Wolf’s Greyhound Racing Guide – Sandown Park 27/7/17

Wolf’s Best

Miss Judge (Sandown Park Race 1, No. 1)
Speedy pup that won well over this course and distance last start.

She was dominant last start; flying out early to lead and going on from there to win by over three lengths.

With her early speed The Wolf expects her to be leading into the first turn and if that is the case will prove very tough to run down.

Extreme Magic (Sandown Park Race 4, No. 4)
Extreme Magic had no right to get within a length of the winner last start after being checked to last on the first turn.

He was huge in the back straight making up 10 lengths of the leader and if the race had 20 more metres he would’ve bolted in.

With any luck hell be winning here and his record of six wins from his last nine races speaks for itself.

Confidence Level:

Blue Gum Hill (Sandown Park Race 6, No. 1)
Speedy son of Barcia Bale that held off a fast finishing Extreme Magic last start over 515m.

Steps up to the 595m here and having drawn the red should be leading into the first turn.

He makes his own luck out in front and with an early lead should take plenty of running down.

Bolter

Moltisanti (Sandown Park Race 7, No. 1)
Flew out early to lead over this course and distance three starts ago only to be nabbed late in the shadows of the post.

She broke 5.05 for the first section that time and a run anywhere close to that sees her leading quite easily.

She doesn’t meet any world beaters here and The Wolf suspects that if she puts herself in the lead early she’ll take running down.
