Super League: Round 28
St Helens (13-14 ATS) v Castleford (15-12 ATS): Castleford +10.5 ($1.90)
Cas have played Saints closely of late with none of the last five meetings featuring a double digit margin with Cas winning when the teams played last year. The Tigers are on a four-game win and cover streak so worth sticking with.
Hull FC (16-11 ATS) v Wigan (9-18 ATS): Hull FC -4.5 ($1.90)
Scrap last week’s Hull FC performance following their Challenge Cup win – they were undermanned and undermotivated. FC are the standard-bearers this year and Wigan’s 9-18 ATS record shows how overrated they have been from a betting perspective all year.
Wakefield (13-14 ATS) v Catalans (14-13 ATS): Catalans -4.5 ($1.90)
Both teams are terribly out-of-form but former darlings Wakefield have lost the plot with five straight defeats of 24 or more. Catalans blew a big opportunity against Warrington last week but have generally been a strong bet in England this year. Wakefield have won the last two battles this year but this team has been derailed since then.
Warrington (15-12 ATS) v Widnes (12-15 ATS): Widnes +11.5 ($1.90)
When Widnes turned their form around earlier in the season it was following a strong win against Wigan. Off another strong win against the Warriors they look good to stage another upset. The Wolves are 5-2 ATS as a home favourite of 10 or more this year but Widnes are a team with plenty of heart.
