Super League Preview: Round 24
Warrington (13-10 ATS) v St Helens (10-13 ATS): St Helens +4.5 ($1.90)
Kurt Gidley is in doubt for Warrington and with the Wolves playing a Challenge Cup tie last weekend the fresh Saints look the bet. St Helens have covered their last three road games and have won their last six at Halliwell Jones Stadium, including 25-22 this year.
Hull FC (14-9 ATS) v Castleford (11-12 ATS): Castleford +8.5 ($1.90)
Hull FC and Cas have split the last seven matches right down the middle with three wins apiece and a draw. Matches have tended to be close with 8 of the last 9 decided by seven points or less. The Tigers have covered 4 of their last 5 on the road.
Wigan (7-16 ATS) v Wakefield (13-10 ATS): Wakefield +16.5 ($1.90)
Wakefield have had it well over Wigan this year with a 62-0 win – their biggest ever over the Warriors – before a close 22-28 loss in Round 22. The Wildcats have covered five straight and 7 of their last eight getting a double digit start on the road. Expect another close one.
Catalans (13-10 ATS) v Widnes (10-13 ATS): Catalans -11.5 ($1.90)
Catalans were hammered by Widnes in the last round before the split but a turnaround is expected this week. Widnes have never got closer than 13 in Perpignan. They are just 3-4 ATS as a double digit home favourite but should have too much class.
