That Rings A Bell was very impressive last start after she was slow out but managed to charge home from out wide to score first up. She’ll be much improved off that run and stepping up in distance to 1400m appears to be an ideal progression for her. Undefeated over this track and distance and The Wolf is expecting her to ensure this record remains with a win here. Damien Oliver has won on her three times and The Wolf is supremely confident the pair will score their fourth together here.
Recommended Price: $2.90
Big Hammer has progressed nicely through two runs this prep and looks hard to beat third up from the break. He’s undefeated over 2100m and off his last start placing at Cranbourne over 2025m he appears ready to breakthrough. Regan Bayliss takes the reins which is a positive and from the wide draw he should look to settle him midfield with cover.
Recommended Price: $4.80
Moana Jewel won well at Pakenham last start and with improvement off that run should prove very tough to run down here. She won her maiden well last start over 1200m, when extending away nicely to score by a length. The step up to 1400m looks suitable and with Nikita Beriman hopping back aboard she’ll be hard to catch. Expect her to jump straight to the lead and give them something to run down from there.
Recommended Price: $7.50
Tigidig Tigidig kept chasing behind Hectopascal last start and The Wolf is confident this is right form reference to be winning this race. He’s well drawn for this assignment and with the claim from Zac Spain he gets in very well at the weights. He’s ready to win and The Wolf is supremely confident that it will be coming here.
Recommended Price: $8.50
I Am Poppy should lead with Van Overmeire aboard and looks very hard to beat with a clean break from the gates. She ran well first up when placing at Warwick Farm and should be much fitter for that run here. She’ll lead again here and if she gets a soft time of it in front she’ll be hard to catch.
Recommended Price: $2.80
Cab Fair has progressed through her grades well and off a last start third could be ready to win. She finished off nicely for third last start in a BM70 over 1400m at Pakenham and should appreciate the drop in grade to a 64, albeit against the boys as well. Bayliss on is a positive and from the inside draw she maps to get a very soft run in transit.
Recommended Price: $11/$3.30
