Wolf’s Racing Guide – Tuesday, 12 June

Tuesday racing is from Pakenham, Corowa and Quirindi. The Wolf has found some nice bets on each card.

Wolf’s Best

Nais Ko (Quirindi Race 2, No.4)

Nais Ko is a beautifully bred filly from the Kris Lees stable and she looks ideally placed to break through here at Quirindi. Last start she ran a creditable fourth at Port Macquarie, running fourth when attempting to lead all the way, but only getting beaten less than half a length. Aaron Bullock retains the ride, and he should be able to control the tempo and prove too good.

Circuit Bets

Like To Think So (Corowa Race 6, No.3)

Kym Hann is a very astute trainer and he looks to have a nice horse in his hands in Like To Think So. Last campaign he won on debut before running creditable races at the Victorian provincials, he has since spelled and trialled well, and interestingly Harry Coffey makes the trip up to ride him – his only ride for the day.

Recommended Price: $2.40

Our Luca (Pakenham Race 5, No.2)

Our Luca has been terrific at both runs back from a spell, but hasn’t quite had the right luck to break through. That should change today. A front runner, he has not had things quite run to suit at either race, but back on a track he has had success at before, and drawn to get the right run, he should get the cash.

Recommended Price: $3

Aristobeaux (Pakenham Race 6, No.1)

Aristobeaux ran a terrific race last time out at this track but was unlucky to run into Gaudi, a very progressive galloper. The handicapper hasn’t missed him with the 62Kg, but he is a big lump of a horse and big weights don’t seem to stop horses so much on the synthetic. One thing is for sure, Ben Melham will have him rolling in front from barrier one, and he can use that advanced position to help him get home.

Recommended Price: $2.50
