Wolf’s Sunday Racing Guide – Sunday, 11 March

The Wolf his cast his eye over the fields for Sunday and has singled out a few best bets at Grafton & Canberra!

Wolf’s Best

Tristan De Angel (Grafton Race 5, No. 2)

Tristan De Angel was impressive when winning on debut at Lismore and if he’s come on from that run he will take beating once again. Matt Dunn trains and with Robbie Fradd taking the reins he’ll prove very tough to run down. He’s a talented horse and should only get better with experience. Get on!

Circuit Bets

Waimea Bay (Canberra Race 5, No. 11)

Waimea Bay was dominant when winning at Rosehill last start and looks well placed to score her third win in a row here. She’s undefeated over this distance and from barrier 4 The Wolf is expecting her to get a dream run throughout. She has form around Floki which would stack up in this and The Wolf is expecting her to be hard to beat.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $7.50

Snitz (Grafton Race 6, No. 2)

Snitz has won his last three races and The Wolf is confident he’ll be able to go 4/4 with a win here. Robbie Fradd stays on and the fact he is undefeated over 1400m The Wolf’s confidence is high. He’s short in the market but he has a huge class edge over these gallopers and it should show here.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $1.70

Bolter

Newtown Bluebag (Canberra Race 6, No. 14)

Newtown Bluebag has placed in his last two races at Canterbury and if he gets the speed on once again he’ll go close. He steps up to 2000m which suits and with only 54kg on his back should go very close. Admittedly Show A Star will be hard to beat, but at the price Newtown Bluebag draws plenty of interest and The Wolf is expecting a top three finish from him.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $26/$5.75
