Wolf’s Racing Guide – Monday, 18 June

The Wolf has cast his eye over the fields for Monday and has singled out bets at Lismore and Moe.

Wolf’s Best

Splitter (Lismore Race 4, No.2)

Splitter resumes today on the back of a good trial win at Doomben. She broke her maiden in very strong fashion at the Gold Coast last prep and looks ready to fire fresh. Looks very well placed by Tony Gollan and should be too strong in this field.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $3.30

Circuit Bets

That’s Madness (Lismore Race 3, No.10)

That’s Madness finally broke her maiden in good fashion at the track last start. She’ll look to take advantage of the rails draw and go on with it now that she’s broken through. Ben Looker sticks and will be looking to make it back-to-back wins.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $4.60

Nangawooka (Moe Race 10, No.1)

Nangawooka placed at Sandown last start and looks well placed back to BM58 grade. He races well over this trip and is one from one at the track/distance. The awkward barrier is a concern, but it might be the place to be on a heavy 10 in the last race on the card. Major player.
Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3

Bolter

Columbia (Moe Race 7, No.4)

Columbia won a Cranbourne trial by 3 lengths lats month and followed it up with a midfield performance at Wangaratta. He’ll strip fitter for that run and won’t mind the sting out of the ground here. Knockout hope in the field.
Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $10/$3.25
