Wolf’s Racing Guide – Monday, 11 June

The Wolf’s Monday Racing Guide featuring his all-important best bet and circuit bets. Randwick & Ballina feature in today’s edition.

Wolf’s Best

Wander (Randwick Race 7, No.7)

Wander scored an ultra-impressive win last start at Hawkesbury and looks well placed here to win at his city debut. First up he placed behind Prime Candidate at Wyong; who has since franked the form by winning in town at Canterbury. He followed this placing up with a win at Hawkesbury where he won with ease by over two lengths. He can win again with Brenton Avdulla engaged and The Wolf is expecting he will do exactly that.

Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $2.70

Circuit Bets

Morpheus (Randwick Race 3, No.1)

Morpheus scored an impressive win at Goulburn last start by over three lengths and if he brings that form here he’ll go close. James McDonald hops on and from barrier 2 should be able to settle on the speed. He’s had two runs this prep so he should be fit, experienced and ready to win again.

Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $2.45

Tswalu (Randwick Kensington Race 8, No. 2)

Tswalu does her best racing first up and on that looks very hard to beat here. She’s had two trials to ensure she is ready to run and with luck she’ll be going home the winner. Her form behind Prompt Response, Fortensky and Wild Ava is strong enough to be winning here and The Wolf is confident that she will be doing exactly that.

Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $6.50

Hard Core (Ballina Race 2, No.2)

Hard Core brings by far and away the best form to this and should be going home the winner. He broke his maiden two starts ago at Moruya and then followed this up with a strong third placing at Orange. This is a sharp drop in class from last start and with Tegan Harrison engaged he is expected to lead.

Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: WIN
