Wolf’s Racing Guide – Happy Valley 25 October

Wolf’s Best

Exceptional Desire (Happy Valley Race 5, No. 2)

A winner of his last start over this course and distance The Wolf is confident that lightning will strike twice here.

Last start Moreira took him straight to the front, where he went on to score a dominant one-length victory.

He rises sharply in the ratings but luckily for him remains in Class 4 where he meets a relatively similar field as he did last time out.

Expect Purton to take him straight to the front, and from there take plenty of beating.

Recommended Bet: Exceptional Desire to WIN.

Double Point (Happy Valley Race 2, No. 7)

Speedy gelding from the Caspar Fownes Yard who went awfully close last time out over this course and distance.

He’s third up here and with the fitness he’ll have taken from his first two runs, should be going very close.

Expect Callan to settle him just off the speed and from there, take catching.

Recommended Bet: Winning Controller to WIN.

Confidence Level:

Speedy Wally (Happy Valley Race 6, No. 3)

A winner of two from three this prep, The Wolf is confident he’ll return to this winner’s stall once again here.

He’s been dominant his first two starts, and his narrow defeat third up still held plenty of merit.

Purton sticks aboard which adds confidence and if he can slot him in just off the speed, he’ll be able to let down nicely in the straight.

He remains at the 1650m here and The Wolf is confident he’s the one to beat.

Recommended Bet: Speedy Wally to WIN.

Confidence Level:

Winwin Ruby (Happy Valley Race 7, No. 2)

Gelding from the Manfred Man stable who is looking to end a run of two placings on the trot with a win here.

He placed behind Rattan last time out at Sha Tin, which reads very well for this race.

Expect Purton to settle him on the speed and from there, take plenty of beating.

Recommended Bet: Winwin Ruby to WIN.
