Wolf’s Out-Wide Racing Guide – Wednesday, 9 May

The Wolf goes out wide this Wednesday for his best bets around the country. There is value to be had and he has found it. Check out his best bets from the Gold Coast, Balaklava & Canberra!

Wolf’s Best

Hearts Lifted (Gold Coast Race 3, No. 1)

Hearts Lifted placed on debut at Grafton and if she’s come on from that run here she’ll take beating. Trained on track by Michael Costa, this filly showed above average ability on debut and was only narrowly run down by a very smart galloper from the O’Dea stable. The step up to 1200m should suit and The Wolf is keen to be on him here.

Circuit Bets

Divine Messenger (Gold Coast Race 7, No. 4)

Divine Messenger has been solid in two runs back for the new stable and if she runs up to her best here she looks hard to beat. She drops sharply back in grade for this after finishing fourth in a Listed race at Doomben behind Whypeeo. She’s fit, ready to win and The Wolf is expecting her to do exactly that here.

Recommended Price: $3.70

Boom Boom Epic (Gold Coast Race 9, No. 4)

Boom Boom Epic has won over this track and distance before and The Wolf is expecting her to repeat that win here. She stepped up to Listed grade last start in the Gold Coast Bracelet where she finished down the track. This is a sharp drop in grade from that run and her record over 1800m suggests that she will be in the finish for this.

Recommended Price: $3.40

Table Of Wisdom (Balaklava Race 6, No. 4)

Table Of Wisdom performed admirably in a stronger race at Pakenham when first up and The Wolf is confident that a drop in class could spark sharp improvement in the four-year-old. Blinkers go on which is a plus and from the draw he is expected to lead. The 2kg claim from Crowther helps and he maps as the one they have to beat.

Recommended Price: WIN

Zamaking (Canberra Race 4, No. 6)

Zamaking was slow away on debut but caught The Wolf’s eye late, firing up to finish a length off the eventual winner in fourth. He’ll have taken sharp improvement from his debut run and should be able to account for this field with ease.
