Wolf’s Out-Wide Racing Guide – Saturday, 3 March

The Wolf goes out wide this Saturday for his best bets around the country. There is value to be had and he has found it. Check out his best bets from Doomben, Morphettville & Ascot! He’s keen on a $19 shot at Doomben.

Wolf’s Best

Tversky (Doomben Race 7, No. 5)

Tversky is 2/2 on the heavy going and The Wolf is confident he’ll be able to make it 3/3 with a win here. He kicked off his preparation with two wins before finishing third last start. He clearly loves the wet and with a heavy 9 predicted at Doomben The Wolf is expecting he’ll be winning.

Circuit Bets

Viennese Star (Morphettville Race 4, No. 1)

Viennese Star hit the line well on debut at Moonee Valley and off that win looks well placed to make it back to back wins here. She’s drawn well in barrier 3 where Meech should look to settle her midfield before peeling out in the straight to give chase. Krone has since placed in a hot race at Bendigo and this looks like a very strong form reference moving forward as the winner of that race is lining up at Randwick (Race 4, No. 11) in the Sweet Embrace Stakes.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $3.30

Master Of Arts (Morphettville Race 7, No. 2)

Master Of Arts has performed in a some very strong races in Melbourne this prep and if he brings that form here he’ll take beating. He’s unbeaten over 2600m and clearly loves Adelaide as he won twice from three visits to the track. He’s trialled very well leading into this and The Wolf is keen to be on him.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $3.50

Chilly Cha Cha (Wyong Race 5, No. 4)

Chilly Cha Cha is 1/1 when second up and against this field The Wolf expects her to make it 2/2. Last prep she displayed sharp improvement when running second up and if she can repeat that performance here she’ll take beating. The booking of Aaron Bullock indicates to The Wolf that she is nearing a win and The Wolf is expecting it will come here.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $2.60

Princess Zelda (Ascot Race 7, No. 10)

Princess Zelda won well at Bunbury last start and The Wolf is confident she’ll be able to repeat that performance and win here. She circled the field from the rear last start to score and from barrier 12 maps to do the same again. She drops in weight from 57.5kg to 54kg for this and with Jason Brown sticking aboard she looks the hardest to beat.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $8.00

Bolter

Kopite (Doomben Race 5, No. 5)

Kopite comes through some very strong form races in Sydney and if she runs up to her best she’ll take beating. Last start at Canterbury she placed behind Lady Sansa over 1250m and with the added 100m on offer here we should see a much improved run from her. Damian Browne takes the reins which adds confidence and with a positive ride from the soft draw she should get every chance to win.

Recommended Price: $13.00
