Wolf’s Out-Wide Racing Guide – Saturday, 23 June

The Wolf goes out wide this Saturday for his best bets around the country. There is value to be had and he has found it. Check out his best bets from Doomben, Morphettville & Belmont…

Wolf’s Best

Bare Naked Lady (Doomben Race 1, No. 2)

Bare Naked Lady scored an ultra-impressive win last start at Scone by nearly four lengths and if she repeats that performance here she’ll take catching. The form out of that meeting regularly stacks up and with Corey Brown engaged she shapes as the one to beat. She’ll get a nice cart in behind the leaders before peeling out to let loose in the straight.

Circuit Bets

Poised To Strike (Morphettville Race 2, No. 4)

Poised To Strike made a very strong impression on debut last start to finish in second and The Wolf is confident he can go one better here. He’ll have taken plenty of experience from that run and with a 1.5kg pull in the weights he can reverse the results. Tourneur takes the reins and from the draw he looks hard ot beat.

Recommended Price: WIN

Stragun (Morphettville Race 4, No. 7)

Stragun has refused to win this entire preparation, having finished either second or third in his last four runs by under a length. He’ll be competitive again here and with the inside draw is expected to settle just behind the leaders. The Wolf has Sirbible, So You Too & Aspect all pushing forward to lead, which will work in Stragun’s favour as they will more like engage in a speed battle and gas themselves.

Via Blaciano (Moprhettville Race 8, No. 9)

Via Balciano was narrowly beaten last start by Going Gaga and off that looks set to run well again. He’s had the three runs under his belt and should be fit enough to breakthrough for a well deserved win. Joe Bowditch remains on trainer Lloyd Kennewell and The Wolf is confident that the pair have finally found a winnable race for the son of I Am Invincible.

Bolter

It’s It (Belmont Race 7, No. 6)

It’s It finished alongside Profit Street last start and at the current double figure quote he represents excellent each way value. He’s third up into this so he’s fit, ready to win and with Randy Tan sticking aboard could find himself in the finish. He’s a winner of five races at Belmont and could add the H.G Bolton Sprint to his tally for win number six.
