Wolf’s Out-Wide Racing Guide – Saturday, 19 May

The Wolf goes out wide this Saturday for his best bets around the country. There is value to be had and he has found it. Check out his best bets from Doomben & Morphettville…

Wolf’s Best

Spurcraft (Doomben Race 5, No. 11)

Spurcraft has put together an impressive record of four wins from his short six-start career and looks well placed to build on that record here. His last win at Ipswich was outstanding last start, scoring by over five lengths eased up on the line. He steps up in grade for this which is always difficult, but he sustains a high speed in transit which not many horses can keep up with, and if he can reproduce that here he’ll prove near-impossible to run down.

Circuit Bets

Tougherthentherest (Doomben Race 7, No. 7)

Tougherthantherest scored an impressive first up win for his new stable and with improvement looks to be a very good chance at winning this. He wanted to lay out in the straight last start but managed to knuckle down and score by half a length ahead of Special Missile. He’s improved since joining the Chris Waller stable and if he has continued to do so for this he’ll take running down.

Recommended Price: $10

Tequila Time (Morphettville Race 2, No. 1)

Tequila Time is a winning machine and there is no reason to suggest he won’t do it again. Expect he’ll fly out to lead once again where is comfortable and play catch me if you can from there. He’s won four in a row and should be able to score his fifth. Clare Lindop’s built an excellent partnership with this galloper and their success should continue here.

Recommended Price: $2.60

Seaburge (Morphettville Race 5, No. 7)

Seaburge hasn’t won for 797 days, but his last two starts have indicated to The Wolf that he is ready to win and at the price he is prepared to find out. He sat behind the leaders last start in the Listed Bendigo Mile, where he found himself chasing hard to go down by half a length to Dodging Bullets. He’s drawn well for this and with Cory Parish aboard looks to be an excellent each way chance.
Confidence Level:
Recommended Price: $10

Creativity (Morphettville Race 6, No. 6)

Creativity scored an impressive win at Caulfield last start ahead of Divine Quality and should be much improved off that win for this. She raced just off the speed that day but managed to knuckle down late to put them away by over two lengths. She can repeat that win here and The Wolf is expecting her to do exactly that.

Recommended Price: $5.50
