The Wolf’s Jumps Guide: Pakenham

Race 1 – Spencer Memorial Steeplechase: No.7 Fionn McCool
The chase seems wide open if Zed Em is scratched and races on the Saturday in Gawler, as expected. The value runners looks to be Fionn McCool, who has just a single placing from four runs over the jumps but looks to be going well. Was well backed last when placing at Pakenham in a decent steeple, just grabbed late. Has some solid flat form around his jumping exploits. Value.

Race 2 – Maiden Hurdle: No.3 Glorious Sinndar
Winning flat form is usually good form for maiden hurdle affairs and the fact Darren Weir trains this 5yo it just adds confidence in Glorious Sinndar. He has won three straight on the flat including the listed Andrew Ramsden last start. The French-bred galloper can go and should be winning this on his way to bigger riches.

Best: Glorious Sinndar
