Saturday Harness Racing Guide
Wolf’s Best Bet
Globe Derby Race 8, No.6 Celebrity Guess
Last start she worked far too hard in the run and only got caught late in very fast time. Tonight she should find the lead again and The Wolf thinks she will get a much easier time here. She looks the winner.
Melton Race 7, No 6 Sky Petite
She is a classy mare and last start only got beaten because she did a power of work in the run. Tonight’s field is easier than last time out and The Wolf is confident she will find the lead or if she doesn’t she is still more than capable of winning this race from outside the leader.
Albion Park Race 7, No 11 Purple Royale
She is airborne at the moment and although she has drawn the backrow she will be awfully hard to beat. There doesn’t look to be a strong leader in this race and therefore she will be charging over the top of them late.
Albion Park Race 4, No 8 Proby One
He is going to enjoy the perfect trip behind the leader and over the mile will be hard to hold out. The Wolf says he is a horse who has been racing well for a while and loves the short course.
Melton Race 4, No.4 Just Knew
He is racing well and has been severely held up his last two runs. He ran a brilliant second five starts back in the Melton Pacing Cup and tonight will appreciate the smaller field. With the right run in transit he can give us a great sight at big odds.
Wolf’s Back Breaker
Globe Derby Race 4, No. 1 Official Art
He is racing well but is going to start under the odds because of his barrier. There looks to be pressure galore in this race and The Wolf says the one barrier you don’t want to be in this race is barrier one. Play around Official Art as he will be under pressure on the home turn and look for the swoopers to prevail.

GROUP 3 – $30,575 Empire Stallions Vicbred Platinum Pace Group 3 (Melton)
Niki No No has drawn ideally in barrier one and will be the hardest to beat especially as she will be the leader. Snip Of Grand is the main danger to the favourite. She has a very powerful sprint and if close enough on the turn can run over the top of them. Starzz Of Icon was impressive two starts back in good time. Last start she was held up and should have finished much closer. Glory Daze should have a soft trip and will get every hope in the sprint lane.
GROUP 3 – $31,800 Harness Breeders NSW Go Girlfriend Series Final Group 3 (Menangle)
Miss Riveriera Bell was super last start in fast time and is hardest to beat. Helens Bonus on the backrow was equally impressive last start and although she will need luck she will be storming home late. Changeover A Flyin has been flying since coming across the Tasman, winning all three race starts, and should be right in the finish again tonight. Look and Listen and Sapphire Stride look best of the rest and should be included in exotics.
