Saturday Harness Racing Guide
Wolf’s Best Bet
Melton Race 10, No 1 Im Twice The Delight
She has drawn ideally in barrier one and should hold the lead and prove very hard to get past. On recent efforts she looks to be improving with every run and her last start was impressive when running second in 1.52.7 after death seating the trip.
Albion Park Race 1, No 4 Divas Delight
The Wolf thinks if Divas Delight is driven like he was last week to find the lead soon after the start they wont be catching him. He was driven aggressively and won easily in a fast 1.55.8 over the 2138m trip when scorching home in 56 seconds for the last 800 metres.
Albion Park Race 3, No.8 Mister Jay Cee
Drawn to have the gun run behind a strong leader and with the sprint lane as an option he will be very hard to beat. It looks too good to be true on paper as the speed map points to him winning this race.
Albion Park Race 4, No 10 Heza Swinger
He will start in the running line and with the likely leader not going that well at the moment that should mean the favourite Smokin Bird will be held up and The Wolf is expecting Heza Swinger to take off at the 600 metre mark and sail past them in the straight.
Menangle Race 9, No.12 Unico Pegasus
We are likely to get triple digit odds about this trotter! He’s a chance on his old Victoria form though. He hasn’t raced for three weeks and has had a big stable change to Darren McCall which is in great form at the moment. The Wolf says he starts in the running line and if he trots all the way you just never know…
Wolf’s Back Breaker
Albion Park Race 5, No. 2 Iceenothink
He is coming north off a very successful Vicbred campaign and has drawn well tonight but over the staying trip The Wolf thinks he looks vulnerable as there looks to be pressure. Bet around him at the short odds despite the spruik.

GROUP 1 – $200,000 2016 Ubet Blacks a Fake G1 (Albion Park)
The Wolf was very impressed with Hector Jay Jays’ win last week when coming from well back. Tonight he looks the one to beat, providing he doesn’t do it tough. Christen Me has drawn poorly on the backrow but he is simply too good to dismiss. The best part about the draw is that we can get a good price about him. Ohoka Punter has been brilliant his last two starts when doing all the work. If he can get a softer run in transit he can be a major threat to the favourite. Ultimate Art and Glenferrie Hood will both be in the running line and looks the two for trifectas.
GROUP 1 – $100,000 2016 Qbred Triad Final G1 – 2yo Colts & Geldings (Albion Park)
The back marker Maestro Bellini is the best horse in this race and even though he has drawn the backrow The Wolf is very confident he can sit outside the leader and prove too good for his opposition. Rock With Sam surprisingly got run down last start. Go on his previous form which would make him one of the main players in this race. Bet Im Special should get a nice trail in the running line and will be charging home late. Tygar was impressive winning last start which will see him competitive in this whilst Statement Made will need luck but did beat the fave three starts back.
