Wolf’s Best Bet

Bunbury Race 1, No. 4 Right Hand
He’s the fastest horse in this field though the Wolf never thought he would ever say that about this horse. Last Saturday night he flashed home after having no luck and is again tonight going to have to race for luck. The likely leader drawn inside him looks a weak front runner and that should enable the back markers to get home hard which should suit Right Hand.

Confidence Level:

 Circuit Bets

Bunbury Race 6, No 1 Captain Proud
He has the ideal draw and tonight should be no worse than behind the leader in the run. Last week he ran a very good second in fast time when finishing hard from well back. The speed map really makes him the standout selection in this race we just need him to get us across the line.

Globe Derby Race 2, No.1 Viewbytherock
He looks very hard to beat having drawn the pole and on the way he won his last start he should be able to lead throughout in tonight’s race. He is ultra-consistent this time in finishing in the placings in five of his six starts. Last start he won racing outside the leader rating 1.58.5 over this distance which would mean he should go quicker on the rail.

Albion Park Race 8, No 7 Ultimate Art
He is the class in this race tonight and loves the spacious 1000 metre circuit. Last year he won 8 races in a row in the best grade around this circuit. He faces a very weak field compared to what he has been racing and over the mile should be able to race outside the leader and put them away.

Wolf’s Bolter

Bunbury Race 4, No 7 Estilo
He resumed last week but was never a chance as he was last and they come home the final 800 metres in 55.2 seconds. Tonight he will be much better suited in the small field and looks a huge chance to get over the top of them late as this field has many slow horses competing in it.

Feature Race Betting

GROUP 1 – $100,450 Australian Pacing Gold Brisbane Sales Graduates Final (Albion Park)
There look to be minimal chances in tonight’s group one event with the pole marker set to dominate. Pinup Boy has looked very good since resuming from a spell racing outside the leader in two of his past three runs. Tonight from the pole he looks the leader and from out in front they shouldn’t get past him. Arts Treasure was a good winner last time out but tonight might be forced to race outside the leader which will make his task all the more difficult. Ark Patrol looks next best of the rest but doesn’t look a winning chance while place chances also go out to Miss Costalot and Naughtyinheaven

GROUP 3 – $30,000 Empire Stallions Vicbred Championship Final (Melton)
Barriers look to have decided the Empire Stallions Vicbred Championship Final with San Carlo the winner of 16 of his 18 race starts drawn to lead and drawn to win. San Carlo is going to be a very short priced favourite and looks to be heading towards much bigger and better races. Bou Chard has the perfect draw and looks most likely to be finishing in second place behind San Carlo. Christmas Jolt is in very good form at the moment pacing with real confidence but third placing looks his best chance along with the likes of Top The Ace, Murranji Track and Dont Hold Back.
