Wolf’s Best Bet

Albion Park Race 8, No.1 Constantlysideways
Has been very unlucky recently doing a power of work in most races. Tonight from the pole he looks unbeatable as he should hold up from the inside and run them off their legs. Last start he was very game finishing close up behind Bring On Lefty, tonight from out if front he will break the clock and crush his opposition over the mile journey.

Circuit Bets

Newcastle Race 8, No.10 First Fleeter
Although he isn’t blessed with speed his is down in class on his latest run and tonights race really lacks class. He has drawn wide on the front row and is sure to go back early but he should be able to come with one run at them and get over the top of them.

Bunbury Race 2, No.3 Artistry In Motion
He resumed from close to a nine month layoff from the track with a fast finishing third placing against the smart Lavros Vance two weeks ago in a 57.1 second last 800 metres. Tonight from barrier three he should slot into a good position close enough to the front and with further improvement he will be the one storming over the top of them late.

Bunbury Race 7, No 1 Coeur De Whitby
He is always around the mark but doesn’t have a very good strike rate at winning. Two starts back he also had the pole at this track and was beaten for speed early but flashed home late and should have won. Tonight he should be on the leaders back again and will have every chance on the sprint lane and with the speed he showed us two starts back he should go straight past them.

Globe Derby Race 3, No 6 Crystal Sparkles
She hasn’t had a trial in Australia as yet but is owned by the Butterworth Racing Syndicate and is trained by Les Harding which gives us a good indication that she must be good. She has raced in good company over in New Zealand and should be well and truly up to this grade.

Globe Derby Race 5, No 1 Renesmae
She has only had the one race start in which she raced outside the leader throughout and was only beaten seven metres. She showed enough gate speed that she should be able to take full advantage of barrier one and is a huge chance of leading throughout.

Wolf’s Bolter

Albion Park Race 1, No 12 Western Blaze
He is going to be very juicy odds tonight and is well worth a thought against this opposition. Last start he finished second to Hughie Green in a very nice class race where they scorched home the last 800 metres. He will need luck tonight from his backrow draw but with the right trail into the race he can get over the top of them.

Feature Race Betting

GROUP 1 – $100,000 Benstud Queen of the Pacific
A top class field of mares line up in the Queen of the Pacific but on last weeks lead up race win by The Orange Agent it is hard to see any other mare as a likely winner. The Orange Agent settled back and come with one run at them three wide in a very fast last half and simply gapped them, she should do the same tonight from her backrow draw. Milly Perez has been placed her past two starts behind The Orange Agent and once again should fill a minor placing. Rocker Band should have a good run throughout from gate three while Ameretto, Bettor Downunder and Cyclone Kate look like the next fastest and should fill trifectas and first fours.

GROUP 2 – $75,000 TAB.COM.AU 4yo & 5yo Championship
In what looks a very open race Spare Me Days has the benefit of barrier one and should be able to kick through early to be no worse than leaders back. He is in very good form having finished close up behind Lennytheshark and Tiger Tara in recent runs. Mister Wickham has been very honest racing against the likes of Major Crocker and Maximan recently and tonight should get a good run through from the backrow and be a major threat. Burnaholeinmypocket has won his past three on end but will need luck from his backrow draw while Mr Mojito, Itz Bettor To Win and Mattgregor all have the toughness and speed to be in the finish.
