Friday Harness Racing Guide
Wolf’s Best Bet
Gloucester Park Race 3, No.2 Risk
This colt was a good winner first-up in the country fresh from New Zealand and tonight from gate two he looks very hard to beat. The Wolf expects him to work to the lead and on his win at Northam he looks well above average.
Albion Park Race 4, No.9 Kione Kavier
She won two races on end before last start getting too far out of her ground. Today she shouldn’t be too far back and with the sprint she has shown so far she is more than capable of running over the top of them.
Albion Park Race 6, No. 8 Kyms Boy
He has found a winnable race tonight and from inside the backrow he should get a suck run behind the leader. The Wolf thinks he will be very hard to hold out with the speed he showed last start to run into second.
Globe Derby Race 2, No. 1 Canturi Crest
Has got the best draw he has had for a long time and from the pole he should be leading and The Wolf says will be very hard to beat from in front. There doesn’t look to be much pressure in this race which should ensure an easy lead.
Albion Park Race 8, No. 10 Reign Of Fear
He was an eye-catcher last start when he did a power of work early and got going again late to run into fourth place. Today he has drawn the backrow but shouldn’t do any work in the run and with a trail into the race he should give us a sight. We could get $40 plus for him today!
Wolf’s Back Breaker
Melton Race 2, No 2 Custodian
A two year old racing against the older trotters. Custodian is a Jewels winner in New Zealand and is here for the Breeders Crown next week but The Wolf is potting him tonight. He is racing against the New South Wales Oaks winner and some seasoned horses who can run similar if not faster time than he can.

Feature Race Betting
Wolf Blass Ms Pace Sky 1 (Gloucester Park)
An intriguing race with the favourite Run Oneover drawn inside the backrow behind a horse who The Wolf is not that confident is going to keep the lead. Couldn’t take any less than $3. Cyamach has drawn the backrow too but he is flying at the moment. Northern Assassin was impressive last start and needs to be included again whilst Waylade and Mighty Flying Thomas will need luck but they are racing too well to dismiss.
Cogs Pace (Melton)
The pole marker Burning Cash should have all the favours in this race with the option to hold the lead or take cover. Cover is the best option but either way he is the one to beat. Our Hi Jinx was good first-up and will be handy to the pace. Five Star Anvil will get the trail behind the leader or three back the pegs which will ensure he is steaming home late. Maximan is well and truly due for a win in this grade and has to be respected whilst Young Modern is sure to improve at his second run for Emma Stewart.
