Friday Harness Racing Guide
Wolf’s Best Bet
Redcliffe Race 6, No. 1 Mucho Macho Man
Has drawn ideally in barrier one and should have enough gate speed to hold the lead. His rivals will find it very hard to get past him. He has done it tough outside the leader in two of his past three starts and tonight The Wolf says he will enjoy the pegs at the tight Redcliffe circuit.
Gloucester Park Race 1, No. 1 Vanquished
He has looked very good winning four of his past six race starts and from barrier one he looks terribly hard to beat. He has run slick time when winning and tonight from the lead The Wolf expects another huge performance.
Gloucester Park Race 3, No. 1 Glenferrie Affair
He hasn’t drawn a decent barrier for a long time and has been running some brilliant races. Tonight from the lead The Wolf thinks he looks a very good bet. His win three starts back when doing it tough was good and was in fast time. On that effort he will go close to winning this race.
Globe Derby Race 1, No. 1 Star Brutus
He won last start in fast time after racing tough for the whole race. Tonight from gate one he will have a much easier run in the lead and over the short trip this looks his race. The Wolf says he looks the one too beat.
Gloucester Park Race 4, No. 8 Say It Now
Last start he was a ripping run first-up from a spell and would have won the race in another 20 metres. Tonight from barrier eight he is going to be big odds again but The Wolf expects another big performance as this field is easier than last week and all we need is a bit of speed in the race for him to be charging late.
Wolf’s Back Breaker
Glove Derby Race 3, No. 5 Doubledipofheaven
He looks a nice three-year-old and has won nine of his 13 life time starts but tonight the way the speed map looks he wont be finding the lead and may be forced to race outside the leader from gate five. He is likely to start very short and The Wolf is suggesting to look at a few at a bit more value in this race.

LISTED – $25,000 Chris Garrards Patrons Purse (Redcliffe)
Grant Dixon looks to have the key to this race with his three runners. Applause from barrier one will be the leader and will be in front for a long way but The Wolf is keen on Bio Marinus at an each-way quote which will be on his back all the way. Bio Marinus was held up for a run last start and should have finished much closer. Spare Me Days hasn’t really seen daylight in his past two runs and tonight should have a soft run in the running line ready to swoop. The mare Barynya has won powerfully her past two starts and tonight will be in the market again for good reason.
Garrards Horse And Hound Botra Cup (Gloucester Park)
The stand start always sorts many of them out but if the real Our Sky Major turns up, the winner of multiple Group One races looks the hardest too beat. Last start’s run was too bad to be true and The Wolf is willing to give him another go. Naughty Maravu was good last week although beaten 22 metres he was stuck three wide in the middle stages and did too much work. Ohoka Cooper was impressive last week and will need the speed on again. Our Jericho will appreciate the stand start conditions and will be one of the key players whilst Our Ideal Act off the 20 metre handicap is not to be forgotten.
