Friday Harness Racing Guide
Gloucester Park Race 6, No.7 Waylade
Looks to have found a very winnable race and although he has drawn wide on the front row there is no stand out horse in this field. He has been running super races doing a power of work and tonight The Wolf thinks he should be able to sprint over the top of them.
Gloucester Park Race 3, No.2 Franco Rayner
He has found a very winnable race tonight and from barrier two should work straight across to the lead. He excels when he is in front as was shown two starts back when he led and won easy in 1.55.9 at Bunbury over this trip and tonight The Wolf thinks he will be hard to roll.
Albury Race 1, No. 6 Lyka Version
He has drawn poorly but this is a weak field and on his recent Victorian form he should be hard to beat in this field. Last start he should have finished much closer when he locked wheels. Te Wolf is suggesting to go on his second placing three starts back which was in good time for a race like this.
Globe Derby Race 4, No. 2 Smooth Delight
Last start he was a super run when death seating the trip and coming back on the line to finish second. The times were good in that race, running the last 800 metres in 55.9 seconds. In tonight’s race he will have to death seat again but he should be too good for this field.
Wolf’s Back Breaker
Ballarat Race 4, No 6 Eyrish Mist
Last start she was a handy winner but the time was very slow and tonight’s field is stronger than last start. She is in the very powerful Brent Lilley stables which will ensure she will start very short and The Wolf is suggesting to take her on and back the second and third favourites as they have better exposed form in running faster times.

The start is going to be crucial as it is a very fast front line. Angel Bromac has looked awesome in her two runs to date. Here, Angel Bromac should hold the lead and from there The Wolf is expecting her to win. Doalittlerocknroll should have the perfect run in the one out one back and will be running on strongly. Maczaffair has three picket fences against her name but tonight place looks best as she may be forced to race outside the leader. Rich Maiden will have the leader’s back and the roughie of the field Thejewelinhereye is a must includes for all exotics.
Sapphire Wikaira The Chandon Qualifying Heat 1 (Gloucester Park)
Pressure is going to be the main spectacle in this race and The Wolf is not sure if Jambiani is going to be able to handle it. Jambiani looks the leader which sounds good but he has folded from the lead before which puts doubts on his toughness. Another Vinnie has been flying and if he can get to the death seat easy enough The Wolf thinks he is the one to beat on recent efforts. Ricimer was a strong win last start from the lead. Tonight if he can nab the one out one back position he will have fresh legs late. Glenlochar did it far too tough last start and if the speed is on he is the one who will be getting home best late.
