Racing and Sports Tips – 29/10/17

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet broke his maiden at Cranbourne last start and should measure up again at Sale.

Sale Thoroughbred Bet (5:25pm AEDT)

Captain Jimmy (Race 9, No.10) took up the running at Cranbourne last start and was never headed as he went on to break his maiden.

He’ll adopt similar tactics here with the ‘King’ Noel Callow jumping on.

Steps up in trip, but should progress through the grades, now that he’s broken through.

Looks a serious player here.

Recommended Price: $3.00

Sale Thoroughbred Bet (4:15pm AEDT)

Moss ‘n’ Dale (Race 7, No.6) has won nine of his 20 starts and is one from one at the track.

He’s been racing well of late with two wins at Morphettville and finished third in the Seymour Cup last time out.

If the rain arrives, it will only enhance his chances with a strong record on both the soft and heavy going.

He was drawn wide in the Seymour Cup and should get a softer run here from barrier 6.

The Wolf will be doing a rain dance!

Recommended Price: $4.40

A-League: Central Coast v Melbourne Victory (7pm AEDT)

In what is a true reflection of a bad team, the Mariners have taken the lead in all three of their A-League matches this season but have only a single point to show for it!

They have conceded 9 goals this season – 4 of which have come in the final 10 minutes of matches.

The Victory may be on the same points as the Mariners but The Wolf says not to be fooled by where Melbourne sit on the ladder.

They have faced Sydney, Melbourne City and Adelaide – the three sides that The Wolf has joining the Victory in the top 4 heading into the finals.

Melbourne were also hindered by the international break with several key players unavailable.

Then there is the fact that they have been well in every match they have contested this season.

Melbourne have won the last 4 and 10 of the last 11 meetings with the Mariners scoring just a single goal in their last 360 minutes of football against the Victory.

Melbourne will start their charge up the standings.

Sale Greyhound Bet (7:43pm AEDT)

Zellman (Race 7, No.1) recorded a dominant heat win at the track last start, winning by close to six lengths.

He has a good record at the track/distance (5:2-1-2) and should be able to take up a nice position out of Box 1.

If he can sit off Harry Entity (Box 2), he should be able to pounce mid-race and record back-to-back wins.
