Racing and Sports Tips – 16/11/17

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet is an ex-Team Snowden galloper who looks well placed for his new stable at Port Macquarie.

Port Macquarie Thoroughbred Bet (4:20pm AEDT)

Patriot (Race 6, No.3) is an ex-Team Snowden galloper on debut for John Sprague at Port Macquarie and looks very well placed.

Last time out he won a maiden at Geelong that has proved a strong form race, with multiple winners having emerged from it and a number of horses running well in better races over the spring carnival.

He showed terrific early speed at Geelong so expect Raymond Spokes to go forward on him again and take all the beating.

Pakenham Thoroughbred Bet (8pm AEDT)

Benny Goes Berzerk (Race 5, No.1) ran a huge race in BM70 grade on Bendigo Cup Day, storming home to just miss behind the highly talented Saddle The Sun.

This race represents a nice drop in grade back to BM64 company, and he is clearly the best credentialed runner in the race.

The Darren Weir trained gelding always gets back in his races but will enjoy the long Pakenham straight that will give him time to wind up and run over his rivals.

NBA: Philadelphia @ LA Lakers (2:35pm AEDT)

They are two of the youngest rosters in the NBA but The Wolf says there is a major difference between the two – identity!

The 76ers have really embraced the team mentality and they have a great balance across the floor.

Embid gives them a dominant inside presence while Simmons runs the point like a 10 year veteran.

Most importantly they have surrounded the pair with some very effective wing players who can both shoot and play defence.

Reddick and Covington are averaging over 15ppg and doing so very efficiently.

The other key – everyone on the roster can shoot with Saric, Bayless and Luwawu-Cabarrot all able to both create and knock down shots.

They are ranked 5th in 3-point %, 3rd in assists and 2nd in rebounding.

They are a very complete unit and WILL be making the playoffs.

The Lakers on the other hand look to be ‘winging it’ a lot of the time.

Lonzo Ball is shooting 29% from the field and an embarrassing 21% from beyond the arc.

Philadelphia are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 against teams with a losing record and after a stunning performance against the Clippers, The Wolf has them doing the Staples Center double.

Warragul Greyhound Bet (1:36pm AEDT)

Row Tay Tom (Race 6, No.7) saves his best for the track/distance (12:4-3-1) and will be suited by wide draw in Box 7.

He finished runner-up at the track two starts back, but did win out of Box 7 here four starts back by 2 & 1/2 lengths.

Commands serious respect back to his favourite track.
