Racing and Sports Tips – 15/11/17

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet is 1/1 at Hawkesbury and 2/2 when running second up, and The Wolf is confident that both of these records will remain in tact with a win here.

Hawkesbury Thoroughbred Bet (3:45pm AEDT)

Wanna Get A What (Race 4, No.2) scored an impressive first up victory at Queanbeyan last start.

He settled on the speed that day and at the 300m mark took over and extended away to win by over three lengths.

Form out of this race has been franked, with Lucy Rose coming out and winning by nearly two lengths over 900m on Monday.

He’s 1/1 at Hawkesbury and 2/2 when running second up, and The Wolf is confident that both of these records will remain in tact with a win here.

World Cup Qualifier: Australia v Honduras (8pm AEDT)

The 0-0 draw was a great result for the Socceroos and what was even more surprising was their complete dominance.

Honduras offered next to nothing in attack and will need to make a sharp improvement if they are to deny the Socceroos.

The visitors will be up against it in more ways than one. Australia will have the advantage of additional rest thanks to a chartered flight, a huge home crowd and substantially more depth.

Based on the first leg there is no reason why Australia cannot settle this tie in the first half.

Australia will take complete control of the centre of the park and on that basis alone they should be able to prevent Honduras from posing any threat.

The Wolf was shocked at how easily the Socceroos were able to win the ball back in midfield in the 1st leg and cannot see how Honduras can reverse that pattern.

The Socceroos can make life hard for themselves if they are wasteful in front of goal but The Wolf says the initial focus will be on taking control and preventing any counter-attacks.

The Wolf doesn’t expect things to open up at any point.

The Socceroos should take the lead prior to the hour mark and the nerves will be put to bet with a second goal late on.

It’s been a long, hard road but the Socceroos will get it done.

The Meadows Greyhound Bet (1:40pm AEDT)

Allen Mike (Race 6, No.6) will find this much easier than some of his recent assignments, finishing 6th in a Group 1 at the track two starts back.

He won at the track by 3 & 1/2 lengths three runs back and definitely has the class edge to win again.

He only has to avoid trouble out of Box 6 to add to his impressive record at the track/distance (7:2-2-1).

Recommended Price: $2.50
