Racing and Sports Tips – 13/9/17

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet has won three of his last four starts & will be tough to beat at Canterbury.

Canterbury Thoroughbred Bet (3:10pm AEST)

Nictock (Race 5, No.1) has won three out of his last four starts.

The form around him has held up, with Rebel Miss coming out and winning since being narrowly beaten by him.

The main danger in the race is first up and looks promising, but The Wolf is confident to stick with the Nictock here, expecting his residual fitness to get him over the line.

The Wolf is confident his hot run of form will continue and he is confident he’ll be making it four wins in a row.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2.70

Canterbury Thoroughbred Bet (12:50pm AEST)

Unbeaten filly by Exceed And Excel who was very heavily backed on debut to score.

Marishka (Race 1, No.3) knuckled down to the task when asked last start, accelerating past the leader to win by half a length.

The Wolf is confident that with any improvement off her last start win, she’ll prove very tough to run down.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.60

FFA Cup: Sydney FC v Melbourne City (7:30pm AEST)

A year ago it was Melbourne City who claimed the FFA Cup and their first piece of silverware.

A vintage Tim Cahill header was enough to get them the win but Sydney FC got their revenge in the A-League with two wins and a draw in their three meetings.

A combined scoreline of 7-2 reflects just how dominant the Sky Blues were in those encounters and Graham Arnold has not been shy to express his thoughts that his side is even better than a year ago!

City were really tested by Hakoah and the injury sustained by Fornaroli will see him miss the start of the A-League season.

His absence will really stifle the City attack and The Wolf cannot see them creating in the final third of the field without him.

This is just the second time Sydney are at home in the FFA Cup in almost 16 matches and they will take full advantage.

Graham Arnold has installed a real sense of professionalism in the Sky Blues program and we will see them bring a superior fitness and physicality to this game.

Sydney FC will win and win well.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $1.83

The Meadows Greyhound Bet (3:07pm AEST)

Big Cold Burst (Race 11, No.4) produced a remarkable win to score at the track by 10 lengths last start.

He missed the start and made a scintillating mid-race move to power away from them.

He can’t afford to miss the start again, but has enough speed to overcome it.

Looks very hard to beat, with wins in two of his past three starts.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2.40
