Racing and Sports Tips – 12/9/17
Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!
The Wolf’s best best looks to have found a suitable race for a first up kill on his way to bigger and better things.
Pakenham Thoroughbred Bet (1:30pm AEST)
Premio Momento (Race 1, No.3) looks to have found a suitable race for a first up kill on his way to bigger and better things.
He showed talent at two, running third in a good form race at Wangaratta before going to Caulfield and finishing sixth before being spelled.
The Reward for Effort gelding showed he has come back an even better horse with a comfortable trial win at Tatura.
Expect Michael Walker to sit just behind the speed and prove too strong for his rivals in the home stretch.
Recommended Price: $3.60
Tamworth Thoroughbred Bet (3:55pm AEST)
Talented filly Hebrides Maneuver (Race 6, No.10) has put together two fantastic wins and The Wolf is confident she can make it three in a row today.
Trained at Taree by Greg Drury, she won well first up at Cessnock before a dominant win at Grafton against older horses.
Drawn to get all the favours in barrier three, this race is definitely stronger but The Wolf feels she has a lot of talent and can go on with the job here.
Recommended Price: $3.80
NFL: LA Chargers @ Denver (12:15pm AEST)
The Wolf is tipping the LA Chargers to take out AFC West, while the Broncos look up against it in the division.
The Chargers will be hoping to have minimal injuries during the season and will be sweating on wide receiver Keenan Allen having a healthy campaign this season.
The Broncos have named Trevor Siemian as their starting quarterback and have also re-signed Brock Osweiler.
The Broncos will be backing their defence to do the job here, while the Chargers will look to move the chains with their explosive weapons on offence, particularly Allen and Melvin Gordon.
The Chargers are 8-2-4 ATS in their last 14 meetings in Denver and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 1.
Take the Chargers with +3 start.
Recommended Price: $1.87
Horsham Greyhound Bet (5:07pm AEST)
Nangar Rock (Race 7, No.1) romped in at The Meadows last start and has now won two of his past three starts.
He’ll be suited by the gun draw in Box 1 and will take plenty of running down.
The danger will be Deadline To Meet (Box 2) and it will be a race to the first turn to determine the winner here.
Recommended Price: $2.60
