He doesn’t want it much wetter than this but should be able to get away with it still today.

(Race 3, No.1) has been a busy lad, and he backs up here three days after running a sound race on the flat at Bendigo. Bit Of A Lad
His jumps form has seen him improve right through the season, an inauspicious debut at Hamilton being followed by a solid effort at Warrnambool, then defeat by the smallest of margins at Bendigo.
On the quick back up for master trainer D.K Weir, he looks the one to beat.

French Open: Thiem v Zverev (9:00pm AEST)
Two of the names that will carry tennis over the next decade will battle it out for a spot in the semi finals.
Zverev is somewhat lucky to be here following three consecutive 5 set victories while Thiem was close to flawless in his most recent win over Nishikori.
This is the young Germans first ever Grand Slam quarter final while Thiem is seeking a spot in the semi’s of the French for a 3rd straight year.
Thiem has won 4 of their 6 clashed including 3 of their 4 meetings on clay. He is also the more proven of the pair in best of 5 sets matches and has a clear edge in stamina and physical strength.

Lismore Greyhound Bet (8:08pm AEST)
(Race 5, No.5 ) is a pup with a big future! Final Verdict
Has won 4 of his 9 career starts including 3 of his last 5. We saw him stop the clock at 29.69 over this distance at Lismore last month and will have no problem handling this grade.
He is a serious chaser and has the early speed to overcome the difficult draw. Has won from boxes 2,3,6 and 8.
Will be adding the yellow colours of Box 5 to the list.
