Racing and Sports Tips – 30/08/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Tamworth Thoroughbred Bet (3:50pm AEST)

Hooge (Race 5, No.4) is a mare that relishes the soft footing.

Won her maiden here back in June and has since gone show that she can handle the mile.

Placed 3rd in here first attempt over the trip and last time out went the long way around a big field to storm home and win.

Steps up in grade but drops a few kilos which is always a help.

Love the way she hits the line and in a smaller field she will have every chance to make her run.

Confidence Level: 3-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $5.50

Albion Park Harness Bet (3:42pm AEST)

Mako Banner (Race 4, No.1) has raced outside the leader his past three race starts but today from gate one the Wolf expects him to hold the lead making him super hard to beat.

Four starts back he won over the mile in 1.53.7 from the lead and today we are expecting a  similar performance.

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.00

Angle Park Greyhound Bet (1:52pm AEST)

Pretostella (Race 6, No.2) is absolutely flying!

It took 17 starts to notch his maiden win but he is a changed chaser since shifting to Angle Park.

Has won 3 of his last 4 and has posted some very flashy times for this grade.

Capable of running sub 30 if he can get to the early lead and that makes him a class above the rest.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.50

FFA Cup: Perth Glory v Sydney FC (8:30pm AEST)

Perth host Sydney FC for a spot in the semi’s of the FFA Cup and The Wolf likes the hosts in this one.

The Sky Blues have made it clear that they will build around defence this season by signing Wilkinson and Zullo, both men who have played for the Socceroos.

The losses of Faty, Tavares and Abbas will be tough to fill in midfield and against the trio of Marinkovic, Castro and Keogh we have to get behind a Perth WIN.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.10
