Racing and Sports Tips – 24/2/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet won at Caulfield over 1200m when he was on debut and can do it again today!

Caulfield Thoroughbred Bet (1:40pm)

I Did It Again (Race 3, No.6) has won over this course and distance previously in his career and The Wolf is expecting him to repeat that win here.

Last start he finished a length behind Cliff’s Edge over this course and distance and if he’s returned to that level here he’ll take beating.

Damien Oliver remains on board which adds confidence and with a positive ride on the speed he should be able to go home the winner.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $5

Rosehill Thoroughbred Bet (2pm)

Estijaab (Race 3, No.7) won well for The Wolf on debut by over four lengths and from barrier 1 he is expecting her to do the exact same once again.

She stamped herself as a genuine contender for the Golden Slipper that day, and The Wolf expects her to take home the Silver Slipper en route to her Group 1 grand final.

She’s drawn well in barrier 1 where she should be able to find the lead and if she accelerates away as she did at the 200m mark last start she’ll be able to put this field away.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2.50

A-League: Brisbane v Newcastle (5:35pm AEDT)

The Jets continue to be the best team in terms of A-League betting.

Last week they scored multiple goals for a 7th time in their last 9 away games and this week they will be making it 8 from 10 at Suncorp Stadium.

The Roar have allowed multiple goals in their last 7 home games across all competitions including their last two at home to the Jets.

The Jets have a surprisingly good record against Brisbane winning 4 of the last 5 meetings between the two clubs.

Petratos put on a masterclass last week and The Wolf is expecting his combination with Nabbout to carve up the Roar on the counter.

Get right around the Jets to score Over 1.5 goals.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2.15

Traralgon Greyhound Bet (9:11pm AEDT)

Bronelly Buster (Race 11, No.1) has a great record racing at Traralgon over 315 metres, with four wins from 10 starts.

Box 1 is a massive advantage over the express trip of 315 metres and he’ll look to hold the early lead at the first turn and not give them a chance.

Commands plenty of respect back to his favourite track.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.60
