Racing and Sports Tips – 21/4/18
Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!
The Wolf’s best bet has won five of his past six starts and should take plenty of beating at Caulfield today.
Caulfield Thoroughbred Bet (12:50pm AEST)
Widgee Turf (Race 2, No.3) has been a model of consistency this prep, winning five races from six starts, and The Wolf is confident that the consistency will continue here.
Last start he flew from the rear of the field to get up and if he can replicate that run here he’ll take beating.
Billy Egan takes the reins which is a positive as the pair have a formidable partnership and from barrier 7 he maps to get a soft run throughout.
Recommended Price: $2.90
Randwick Thoroughbred Bet (2:20pm AEST)
So Far Sokool (Race 5, No.4) was a four length winner of the Listed Bendigo Guineas last start and if she runs up to that performance here she’ll take beating.
She stepped away cleanly last start to settle midfield before peeling out in the straight to put a margin on them.
She displayed an impressive turn of foot that day under the hands of Nikita Beriman and looks destined for bigger and better things.
She loves the 1400m and from barrier 4 maps to get a very soft run throughout.
Recommended Price: $3.80
NRL: South Sydney v Canberra (3pm AEST)
The Wolf is expecting a high-scoring affair on a dry track in Gosford on Saturday afternoon.
12 of the last 13 matches between the Rabbitohs and Raiders have topped 48 points, with both sides expected to play some expansive football here.
The over is also 26-13 in Canberra road games.
The Wolf says to back Over 45.5 points despite the high total.
Recommended Price: $1.91
The Meadows Greyhound Bet (10:05pm AEST)
Fully Loaded (Race 9, No.1) is a noted quick beginner who will be suited by Box 1.
He has a win and three minor placings at the track/distance and will prove very hard to reel in.
He’s won three of his last four starts and has given The Wolf no choice but to roll out the five chips.
Recommended Price: $2.20
