Racing and Sports Tips – 19/5/18
Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!
The Wolf is very keen on two runners at Flemington on Saturday.
Flemington Thoroughbred Bet (12:55pm AEST)
(Race 3, No.14) placed behind Flying Murty last start at Caulfield and The Wolf is supremely confident this form will hold up here. Eclair Calling
He steps out to the mile which will suit as he gave every indication running over 1400m that the mile would be his go.
He’s drawn very well in barrier 2 with Noel Callow aboard and The Wolf is confident of him receiving a very soft run throughout.
Confidence Level: Recommended Price: $2.90
Flemington Thoroughbred Bet (4:42pm AEST)
(Race 9, No.1) scored a commanding win over 1400m at this track last start and The Wolf is expecting sharp improvement from him stepping out over the mile. Iconoclasm
He’ll camp just in behind the speed runners before peeling out in the straight to give chase.
Ethan Brown won well on this horse last start and The Wolf is expecting the pair to do the same again here.
Confidence Level: Recommended Price: $2.35
NRL: Melbourne v Manly (7:35pm AEST)
The Storm look very vulnerable this week with captain Cameron Smith ruled out due to suspension.
The Eagles ended a five match losing streak in Brisbane last week and their attacking flair is set to trouble the Melbournians.
Six of the last seven clashes have topped 41 points and there was much to like about the Eagles last week when they put 38 on the Broncos.
Getting a start of 6 or more, the Sea Eagles are 13-8 ATS and the +6 looks very generous here.
We are yet to see Munster and Jacks take control and orchestrate the attack.
DCE will be the difference maker.
Confidence Level: Recommended Price: $1.91
The Meadows Greyhound Bet (9:19pm AEST)
(Race 7, No.1) is two from two at the track/distance and has a PB of 34.47 here. Outshined
He should get a good run from Box 1 and looks well placed over this trip.
The Wolf is expecting him to ‘outshine’ his opposition tonight.
Confidence Level: Recommended Price: $2.40
